Sean Hanover, Family Attorney on Aug 11, 2016
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
Tim did a great job holding my feet to the fire! He was opposing counsel in a DC family case involving military family issues, and complex custody challenges. He was not only professional, but he was fair, and demonstrated excellent client management. He gave enough to keep the negotiations going, but held back enough to ensure his client was ably represented. Through his work, both parties saved on the cost of a full trial. I might also add that he has a good sense of humor, is entirely approachable, and knows the law cold. When he is unsure about a given fact or reference, he indicates it and requests time to research the matter. Refreshingly civil and easy going, I highly recommend Tim to anyone seeking representation in family law in DC or MD.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I endorse this lawyer. Tim Leahy performed magnificently as my co-counsel in complex litigation. He located the expert we needed to make our case, waded through thousands of pages of documents to identify the key elements of the case, and pressured the other side into settlement. He was also easy to work with; we teamed together well. He is excellent dealing with others, be it clients, opposing counsel or others.
