He worked previously as a Public Defender for years, gaining experience on high-level felonies including burglary, robbery, malicious wounding, sex offenses, and a variety of drug- and theft-related cases. He entered private practice in 2019.

He lives with his wife and dog in Prince William County. Mental health and special needs cases are his passion.

Before I met John Sando I assumed the absolute worst for my case. But right away he assured me that he can help me reach the results I was looking for. Plenty of times I felt like giving because the process felt like forever but he would allow me to quit. This is a man who truly cares for his clients and looks to achieve the best results possible. Half way through my case he was able to get the DA to drop a major drug charge and tried to get all my charges dropped. Once he realized they wouldn’t drop both he explored other avenues and was able to find me a program in which all charges will be dropped if i complete it. Today I’m very thankful for his services and couldn’t of asked for a better attorney

Accessable and helpful
When I saw he listed ASL as a language he knew, i reached out to him specifically. We were able to FaceTime for our consult and using sign language for me to understand. He took his time to look into my situation and walk me through what I need to have happen to move forward. By him signing and taking his time I am fully confident in what I need to do. Once I reach the point where I need to hire a lawyer, I will be using Mr. Sando. I’m grateful for his patience, knowledge, and his ability to communicate with me. I also was very appreciative of him reaching out a few days later to make sure I had all my questions answered. I’d highly recommend him.

Mr John Sando did some magic and somehow turned a slam dunk reckless driving case into a basic speeding ticket. No jail time, no license suspension, and only a $250 fine. I have never experienced such success in a courtroom in my life. 10/10

A Darn good Lawyer!!!
