Outstanding

We achieved a phenomenal result of getting a DWI 2nd offense within 5 years reduced to a reckless driving and getting the Reckless Driving by Speed Charge dismissed. This had me worried sick due to my career and needing to drive from job to job. Thanks to Dave the charge was reduced to something I ca...n live with. Best dwi defense attorney!

After an endless search for a reasonably price yet good and knowledgeable attorney, I stumbled onto avvo where I found some great attorneys who's fees were reasonable. I spoke with quite a few up to this point and was not too impressed until I came across David. Immediately after speak with him br...iefly about my case I could tell that this was my guy. Throughout my case, he kept me informed with everything to expect in court. He also strategically had my court case pushed back so that I had favorable odds when going to trial. On my court date, the prosecution offered me a plea bargain that I did not want to settle for, so we went to trial. At this point I was quite nervous, but David reassured me that the odds were favorable for me and that there was nothing for me to worry about. During trial, David presented my case as a true professional, not missing a single detail in my case which helped in the judges decision. I ended up with having my dwi dropped do to there being insufficient evidence that I was intoxicated whole operating a motor vehicle, I had my reckless driving charge dropped to a speeding ticket, and had my failure to update my address to the DMV dropped. Unfortunately, I did lose my license for 12 months due to failing to administer to a breathalizer at the police station, however I already knew that I was going to get this ruling before I even hired an attorney. I can honestly say that David Dischley was able to get me the best possible results in my court case, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to protect themselves from a dwi charge.

DUI to Reckless - Dave Killed it!

When I got arrested for a .15-.2 DUI I knew I needed a well-recommended lawyer familiar with the Arlington court systems. I found Dave on Avvo and picked him over 3 other attorneys after having an initial conversation with him that made me more comfortable with him than his peers. Throughout the 5-...6 month long process, he always provided me with info I needed with quick turnaround, did a great job setting expectations, and was responsive and considerate to my requests for information and guidance. We ended up achieving an unprecedented outcome on my case that couldn't have happened without Dave's skills and connections. Hopefully he'll never hear from me again, but I could certainly call him again if I got into more trouble! Highly recommended.

Above and Beyond!

If you are looking at this website for a good lawyer I think David's credentials speak for them-self. If that is not enough to convince you that he is on his game, then just read the endless reviews he has received. I contacted David when my friend and I were faced with a very difficult situatio...n that involved 3 pending charges (misdemeanor DUI, misdemeanor refusal to blow, and FELONY hit and run). Like you, I used this website to find a list of 8 or so different "top ten" lawyers to contact and talk about my situation. After contacting 3 of the 8 lawyers and getting the same response from each of them (which was: "your situation is to difficult and confusing for me to handle"), I finally called David. Right off the bat David went above and beyond what any typical lawyer would offer you in terms of service (especially considering the fact that I had not retained him yet). Prior to even discussing cost, David gave me an in depth run down as to what the outcomes of my situation could be. He also gave me his advice as to how to handle the situation moving forward (he even mentioned that I needed to find a lawyer that I am comfortable with, not pressuring me to retain him in any way what so ever). Upon retaining him as my lawyer he immediately got to work by dissecting the evidence and trying to find any possible holes in the prosecutions case. Over the three month lapse between the time of the incident and the court date, David was constantly available (nights, weekends, and even on the night of his birthday). He was available via email, phone, and text. Anytime I had a question he would respond within a few hours (unheard of with most lawyers). Being a former prosecutor himself, David not only has the experience, but more importantly, he has developed relationships with all of the prosecutors and judges in Arlington County. This goes a very long way when it comes to negotiating plea deals. Long story short, on the day of court David was able to get 2 out of the 3 charges dropped COMPLETELY. Ended up being charged with the DUI and received 10 days in jail with 1 yr probation and a restricted license (NOT SUSPENDED). This outcome was far beyond what we were hoping for. At a minimum we were anticipating 30 days in jail, suspended license, several years of probation, and at best a felony hit and run being dropped to a misdemeanor. Needless to say, David knocked this one out of the park. If you are looking for the BEST lawyer in Arlington... look no further my friend.

An Awesome lawyer

David represented me in court for a DWI and was able to obtain an excellent outcome. He is hard working, returns calls and emails immediately and is excellent at explaining possible results and options.
