Very Favorable DUI Outcome.

David's preparation and attention to detail made the difference here. Read on: I was arrested for DUI in Arlington with an elevated BAC of 0.16. Very stupid decision on my part to even drive, and honestly, the officers had me dead-to-rights. They weren't looking to bust anybody; they were just checki...ng my parked car to see if everything was okay. It was going to jeopardize everything I wanted to do for the next few years career-wise. Upon my first consultation with David, he demonstrated his extensive knowledge of not only the law, but also his knowledge of the nature of Arlington County in particular and all of the people involved, including the judges and prosecutors. This gave me faith that, even though I was pretty much screwed, I at least had a competent attorney representing me. Nice guy too. Case got continued once, and then on my final court date, David discovered that the police had not filed the breathylizer report in time (and thus could not be admitted as evidence on that day--would be admitted down the road if the case got continued), and found out that the officer had not been resposive to the district attorney. He knows the DA very well, and used this information as leverage in negotiating a plea deal for my case. He got the DA to agree to reduce the charge to Reckless Driving, which does come with a license suspension and a few days in jail, but it's not a DUI. And if you know anything about Virginia, and particularly Arlington, you know that getting a DUI reduced to Reckless Driving rarely happens, and if you have an elevated BAC, it never ever, never ever ever happens. This happened 2 days ago, and I'm still getting used to the idea that my license is only suspended for 6 months, and that I won't have to have an interlock installed in my car, and that I'm not going to have to explain on every job application that I got convicted of a DUI. David Dischley is a Beast, and a really great guy in general. I have no doubt that his preparation, attention to detail, and work ethic carries over into the other areas of law he covers as well. Hire him. You won't regret it.

Words Can't Describe This Man's Talent

I can’t put into words the talent this man brings to the table. Words on a screen will not do him justice. When I say he is the most competent Lawyer you will ever meet, I mean it. I was charged with a DUI ten months ago and David has been with me the whole time. When I was initially charged, I was s...cared for my career and future endeavors, as a DUI charge will have a lasting negative impact on employment. I talked to many Lawyers in the area. One was unsure of my situation and gave me absolutely no confidence in my case when speaking to me. Another was very impatient with my questions and basically said my case could go either way in terms of a conviction. The first time I talked to David he calmed me down right away; his confidence over the phone gave me the reassurance that we actually had shot at fighting my DUI. I blew a .08 BAC and performed relatively well on the field sobriety test. We ended up going to court four different times over a period of ten months. To say he fought and stuck with me is an understatement, he was there until the end. Every time we went to court David would press harder to get me what I wanted. There were many times I was doubtful during this long and grueling process, but I knew David had what it took to get me to the end. With all the stories and reviews I read online, something told me this guy has what it takes, and he does. He ended up getting my DUI dropped to reckless driving with very little legal consequences. What’s funny is that this was the original goal that David and I set out for. This is not common as many people know the state of Virginia takes drunk driving extremely serious. David is a United States Marine. You can see this play out in the courtroom as he fearlessly fights on your behalf. The passion he brings to the table, combined with his dedication, and knowledge of the law is a rarity to say the least. He is very professional in what he does, something that is expected, but when combined with all his other traits, it makes him and his work even more astounding. David knows the Law better than anyone I’ve ever met, and I have met many Lawyers, David sets the bar at a level few will ever achieve in his line of work. The knowledge of the law that he brings to the table is a constant reminder that you are in good hands. Throughout this process I had all types of questions. And I would call him many times a week. David would always answer the calls and he was happy to hear from me. He will connect with you on a level that you would think only possible from a close friend, and that’s the thing, he does become your friend. If you want a Lawyer that can get you the best results, you need to hire David Dischley. He is a true man of character that will fight injustice. He brings dedication, passion, knowledge of the law, and overall perseverance to the table as a Lawyer. He has all the required abilities to get you what you want. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Lawyer and will continue to refer him. It is because of him that my future won’t be hindered from a DUI charge.

Highly Recommend David Dischley

Without a doubt I’d recommend David Dischley for anyone seeking a lawyer. He was especially helpful with my DUI case. There is a lot of anxiety associated with a DUI case: unsure of the law, why am I being charged with a DUI at a .07, fear of not having a license, and sitting in front of a judge; but... David was able to give me some peace of mind and help me through the whole process. He is a confidant lawyer who works through all scenarios with you and make sure that you are comfortable with your decision because at the end of the day its your decision; not his. While offered a plea, I never accepted because I had confidence in my case and David’s knowledge of the court system that I would be fine. Ultimately, I left with a verdict of not guilty on the DUI charge; which was what I wanted. I would highly recommend David to represent you.

Far exceeded my expectations

I hired David Dischley to represent me in my DUI, reckless driving, & refusal to submit to a breathalyzer charges this year and I could not be happier with my decision. I called a few other lawyers and knew as soon as I spoke with him that he was my lawyer even though I never met him in person until ...my first court appearance. Living across the country made things more difficult but David was available every time time I contacted him and always got back to me with answers in a timely manner, at times even caring enough to reassure me that all would be ok. This was, after all, my first time going through any sort of court proceedings. Through this difficult time of unknown and stress, he made sure I knew all of the ways my case could turn out so that I was prepared for all the possible outcomes. What I am most impressed with is the fact that he really listened to me and took into consideration my desired outcome. Although we were presented with a deal at every court appearance, he did not push me to accept anything I wasn't happy with even if it mean coming back to court, which we did a total of 4 times. In the end I never accepted a plea because I was so confident in his knowledge of the court system and opinions as a professional defense (and previously prosecuting) lawyer and I am so glad I did. I left with a verdict of not guilty on the DUI charge which is what I was hoping for. So, to anyone reading this: give him a call! He offers free consultations and his fee is very reasonable. I know I will be referring him to anyone that asks me who my lawyer was.

Thorough and Reliable

I had a first offense DUI with BAC .15, needless to say I was nervous and stressed. I had spoken to 2 other lawyers before Attorney Dischley. After explaining my situation to him, I immediately felt relief and at ease. He explained, in detail, the worst case scenario and what he was able to do for me.... On the day of the court date, he met with me beforehand and explained what his plan was before speaking to the prosecutor. Attorney Dischley was able to lower my BAC to .14 and no jail time, which was mandatory for a .15. That was good enough for me. He was willing to go to trial if I was not worried about jail time, but he informed me that there was a slim chance of winning. I decided to take the initial deal. I appreciated that he laid all possible possibilities, which enabled me to make the best informed decision.
