Phenomenal Lawyer

David Dischley did an amazing job for me. I got hit with a reckless driving charge and had no clue what I should do with it. He came highly recommended from a colleague. He contacted me same day as my inquiry and spent about 40 minutes on the phone discussing the case and my options before I even agr...eed to hire him. He got the reckless misdemeanor charge reduced to a simple speeding ticket. I would absolutely recommend him to anybody in the area. Honest, upfront and very personable.

Appealed Case- Saved me

I got charged with a 90/55 on I-95 in February of 2017. I went ahead and did all of the requirements my previous lawyer suggested. The judge hammered me with a misdemeanor, fine, and a suspension of license. This was terrible, especially for a young university student. I had an absolute clean record ...as well. She did drop my speed from 90 to 86 which is a huge difference in severity when it comes to reckless cases. I decided to appeal. This was my last shot. Desperate, I did a lot more research for a lawyer and I found David Dischley. Immediately, he assured me that everything will be OK and there is a good possibility to get a result in our favor. I must add his rate is extremely fair especially when comparing it to most lawyers in the area. The choice was obvious. Come court date, the first thing he said to me was "your case is dismissed." Never more had I been so relieved. I had this dark cloud over my head for about 8 months and the worrying dissipated. He negotiated with the officer and prosecutor and convinced them that I did everything to show that I was genuinely sorry for the bad call of judgement that night. Amazing guy and amazing lawyer. Do not hesitate to let this man defend you. Thank you David Dischley, you saved me.

Amazing Attorney

Mr. Dischley is a very trustworthy and efficient attorney. I had a reckless driving ticket and I didn't realize the laws in VA. Mr. Dischley explained the process and took the time to make sure I knew what the laws were and what I could expect. This was all done before I retained him. I had spoken ...to other attorneys and no one took the time with me like he did. He kept me informed and calm, because before talking to him I was a nervous wreck shaking like a leaf. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for walking me through this process and getting me the best results for my situation.

Best in the area

I was looking at some hefty jailtime and felony charge I stressed several time how important it was that it not intervene with my career and not going to jail he made sure that did not happen. I am very thankful that he was able to reduce my charge to misdemeanor. It was a small court in a rural area... where I felt I didn't have much of a chance but thankfully with David's help I was able to come out with less then I was expecting. He is very professional and to the point he does not sugarcoat your situations he will be very honest on what's to come but do everything he can to keep you calm and assure you of what he thinks he can accomplish. I am currently dealing with him on another situation to help gain money taken from me. Even though the case is over he has still awsnered questions and been quick to respond he is a great attorney. I couldn't ask for anymore and he was quick to make sure after the case that I was satisfied with my outcome he genuinely seemed to care about what my feelings were after it was all over. He deserves 5 starts if I could rate higher I would. Thanks again for all your help David! Also would like to note when I consulted with David I had already seen previous lawyers and paid quite large sum of money with no real answers to my case David gave me alot of insight in what was to come free of charge this a really stand up attorney not asking for consultation fees but providing me with real answers with the amount of stress on my shoulders! Informed, Professional, Down-to-Earth, and Effective

David represented me on a DUI and a Breathalyzer Refusal charge in February 2017. The incident happened in Woodbridge, VA in Prince William County. I had researched and talked to many other attorney's prior to speaking with David. He was extremely knowledgeable about the current practices of LE in th...e area, listened to all my concerns and questions, and ultimately fought and won at court for me. He was able to get the refusal charge completely dismissed and the DUI charge reduced to an "Improper Driving" charge which is only a traffic violation and fine of $100 for my case, resulting in no misdemeanor or criminal charges brought against me or being on my record. He knows the judges and prosecuting attorneys in the NOVA area extremely well and has a good repertoire with them all. I was mainly concerned about how the charges would affect my security clearance and he drafted a letter explaining the situation thoroughly for the adjudication board that was reviewing my clearance as a result of these charges. That letter along with the final disposition of my case resolved all the clearance issues immediately and I am happy to say I was able to keep my clearance with no blemish on my record. He also provided the information on how I could file an expungement request for the arrest records stemming from the charges free of charge. He also offers a greatly reduced rate for handling the expungement for you if he had previously represented you for that charge. I would highly recommend him to anyone involved in a traffic offense or alcohol related charge. He was always available to answer any/all questions I had at any time, he did not try to nickel or dime me on any fees or costs, he was upfront and honest about possible outcomes, processes, and options. His advice was always spot-on and worked with me the entire process (in my case it took about 5 months total from the initial incident until my trial date). I think he is different than most other attorneys in that he is very down-to-earth and common sense about the reality of things. He does not talk down to you or withhold any information, offers meaningful suggestions, thinks outside-the-box and offers solutions/advice that most other lawyers would probably not think of, and overall is a very personable, intelligent attorney. It is a scary situation when you are charged by the LE, just or unjustly, and when it seems that LE and court systems are just out to make money anyway they can, it can feel like the odds are stacked against you and there are no recourses but to just plead guilty. Hiring David Dischley to represent you would be a very wise move. If nothing else, he will listen to your situation free of charge, offer meaningful/useful advice, and give you a fair price for representation.
