Wonderful Representation

I live out of state and received a ticket in VA while on a business trip. David provided me with great representation and was able to negotiate the ticket to a lower level citation. He is professional, thorough and a great communicator. You can't go wrong using David - and he is also a veteran of ...the Marine Corps.

Highly Recommended

I received a citation for Reckless Driving (General) in Arlington, VA and already had a terrible driving record before that. I had just been taken off of driving probation by the DMV when I received the Reckless Driving ticket so I was a bit worried about the possible ramifications I faced. I spok...e to about 8 different attorneys in the area before deciding to go with Mr. Dischley. His credentials more than speak for his ability to get the job done. He was quick to respond every time I reached out to him before the trial date and he explained in great detail every single one of our possible options in dealing with the case. He explained what he thought was the best course of action and made sure that I understood exactly what that would mean for me and made sure that it was the route I wanted to take. He works in the Arlington area quite often I believe so he knew a lot about the judges we would be facing and how they usually handled these types of cases, but I would not hesitate to hire him in other areas as well after the experience I had with him. I highly encourage you to at least give him a call and speak to him regarding your case if you are trying to find a lawyer to represent you.

I am extremely pleased and glad to have my case handled by David. He was very professional, Courteous and prompt during the entire handling of my case. Extremely pleased client

Take it from me, as a former partner in one of the largest law firms in the world, David should be your first call on any traffic or criminal related matter in Virginia. He is thoughtful, thorough, and most importantly, gets results. Specifically, here is what he achieved for me over a few month ...period: 1. My Virginia drivers license was to be suspended due to points. When other lawyers said it would be impossible, David was able to reopen a traffic ticket case that I had already paid. Then, he was able to reach agreement with the officer to reduce the ticket to failure to pay attention, an infraction that did not result in points on my driving record. This was granted and I was able to keep my license. 2. I had an old court matter that had been dismissed fifteen years ago, but remained in databases used in conducting background checks. David was able to get the matter officially expunged through the courts. Not only did he swiftly reach agreement with the DA, he was able to avoid me even having to make a court appearance in the process. I have the contacts and the resources to hire any attorney of my choosing, and I would go with David again without hesitation.

Best dwi defense attorney!

After an endless search for a reasonably price yet good and knowledgeable attorney, I stumbled onto avvo where I found some great attorneys who's fees were reasonable. I spoke with quite a few up to this point and was not too impressed until I came across David. Immediately after speak with him br...iefly about my case I could tell that this was my guy. Throughout my case, he kept me informed with everything to expect in court. He also strategically had my court case pushed back so that I had favorable odds when going to trial. On my court date, the prosecution offered me a plea bargain that I did not want to settle for, so we went to trial. At this point I was quite nervous, but David reassured me that the odds were favorable for me and that there was nothing for me to worry about. During trial, David presented my case as a true professional, not missing a single detail in my case which helped in the judges decision. I ended up with having my dwi dropped do to there being insufficient evidence that I was intoxicated whole operating a motor vehicle, I had my reckless driving charge dropped to a speeding ticket, and had my failure to update my address to the DMV dropped. Unfortunately, I did lose my license for 12 months due to failing to administer to a breathalizer at the police station, however I already knew that I was going to get this ruling before I even hired an attorney. I can honestly say that David Dischley was able to get me the best possible results in my court case, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to protect themselves from a dwi charge.
