The acquantance with Eric was made as my partner and I first discussed the best way to start a consumer goods company in Seattle. Eric noted that he was a start up lawyer and would like to discuss our company with us.
Eric did not apply a high pressure sales pitch but instead made his value add known simply through describing what he has done for other organizations and how he could apply his knowledge to our situation. His calm demeanor is easy to work with and his presentation of numerous applicable and usable ideas for our organization make him a desireable advisor and partner.
I rate Eric as excellent in trustworthy from experience working with him for the last year. His attitude and professional composure are supportive of a trustworthy individual along with his solid advice. When consulting with Eric I was certain he was out for our best interest.
I rate Eric as good in responsiveness because he almost always emails back the same day and if he is glad to spend face time with us.
I rated Eric as excellent in knowledgeable. Eric always had an angle to think about problems in a different way. He was a fundamental part in our approach to issues such as:
- business structure
- intellectual property
- capitalization and fund raising
- business contact development
I rated Eric as good in Kept me informed. As noted previously Eric always responded to emails in a reasonable amount of time and was eager to help us move to the next step.
Overall I recommend Eric for his ability to work with people and knowledge. Because he can work with a variety of people it is inherent that he has good communication skills.

How impressive can an attorney be? Eric seems to set the top of the gauge. Incredibly resourceful, communicative, and engaging, Eric is wise beyond his years. Eric's knowledge of business is one that develops from being engulfed in an idea, taking it all the way from conception to completion. I strongly suggest that any client contact Eric with their business creation or joint venture questions - he will guide you the right way.
