My wife had a complicated immigration case that kept us in limbo between the US and Canada for a number of years.
Elizabeth and her team were unbelievably helpful and supportive. They kept us informed, were extremely approachable, and didn't make any false promises. Elizabeth was also clear on what her area of expertise was and offered to refer us to other lawyers if we had any questions that she wasn't comfortable answering. Everything worked out fine in the end but even if it hadn't we were really happy with how we were being treated and the advice that we were given.
Elizabeth really goes above and beyond and responds to emails promptly and at bizarre hours of the day/night just to keep you in the loop. We've dealt with several lawyers and have not encountered anyone like her. We enthusiastically recommend her!

I was a client of Elizabeth Kohler Maya when I processed my green card application. I was rather intimidated by the amount of paper work required and didn't know whether or not I met the conditions to apply under the EB-1 category. Ms. Kohler Maya was very helpful and made the whole process as painless as possible and kept me fully informed at every step of the way. She was always available and answered emails even on weekends and at night. I would definitely recommend her because of her professionalism and knowledge.
Mihaela Petre, Immigration Attorney
I am thrilled to write this endorsement for my colleague, attorney Elizabeth Kohler-Maya. I have collaborated with Elizabeth on a wide variety of immigration cases and I have always been impressed by her expertise and her high ethical standards. Elizabeth is a hard-working, knowledgeable and compassionate immigration lawyer. She is very organized and always takes the time to understand her clients’ needs and to assess a case from all angles before choosing the best strategy. Aside from providing top quality legal representation to her clients, Elizabeth gives back to the community by doing pro bono work and mentoring less experienced immigration attorneys. I am truly fortunate to have Elizabeth as my colleague and mentor and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding immigration attorney.
