Elizabeth Ann Kohler

also known as Elizabeth Ann Kohler Maya, Elizabeth Kohler Maya

About me

I have been practicing immigration law with the same office for almost eleven years and feel very fortunate to be part of such a wonderful profession.  The greatest joy of my position is helping clients fulfill their dreams of uniting with family members, finding a safe haven, escaping abuse, and achieving professional and educational goals.  I put every effort into each case to optimize the chance of success.  I maintain open communication with clients to keep them informed of their case and to set realistic expectations.  I believe that America was founded on the hardwork and sacrifice of immigrants and that this continues to be an essential part of our country's fabric.

  • Mihaela Petre

I am thrilled to write this endorsement for my colleague, attorney Elizabeth Kohler-Maya. I have collaborated with Elizabeth on a wide variety of immigration cases and I have always been impressed by her expertise and her high ethical standards. Elizabeth is a hard-working, knowledgeable and compassionate immigration lawyer. She is very organized and always takes the time to understand her clients’ needs and to assess a case from all angles before choosing the best strategy. Aside from providing top quality legal representation to her clients, Elizabeth gives back to the community by doing pro bono work and mentoring less experienced immigration attorneys. I am truly fortunate to have Elizabeth as my colleague and mentor and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an outstanding immigration attorney.
