About 3 years ago the Homeowners Association of which I am now the treasurer sought a legal opinion about one of our HOA's lot owners who suddenly discontinued paying his dues which are necessary to cover the HOA's common expenses that benefit all lot owners, like street lights, upkeep of common areas, road and drainage system maintenance, etc based on some vague words in our covenants. Michael R Smith impressed me greatly by his sound review and opinion in this matter, now the basis for a court action that our HOA is taking, one that is 98% sure to prevail in our favor. Michael R Smith has now his own legal firm in Lewes and Laurel, Delaware, thus this listing should be updated by Avvo.
