I was referred to Andrea Mertz through word of mouth. After consulting with her I felt comfortable with her knowledge of the law and experience and hired her to represent me. She was professional, reliable and easy to communicate with. She was able to get my charges dismissed and did so with ease during my court hearing. I highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of an honest and caring attorney.

we hired Ms. Mertz to handle a very simple civil matter. After taking our money and putting up a good front she stopped contacting us in regards to our case. Even worse, she didn't notify us we had lost our case until after the time to appeal had expired, then after reviewing court records we discovered that she didn't enter pertinent evidence into the record after we paid her to do so. We currently have complaints in with the bar association and are considering a legal malpractice case. I would not recommend hiring the person, if its a criminal case you'll be sitting in jail while she's cashing your check.

I was arrested a couple of months ago for possession of marijuana, escape and trespassing. I thought my life was over being that I'm a college student in the process of earning my bachelors degree. That degree would be worthless with something like this on my background. Anyways, after being bailed out I went to consult with a couple lawyers. All of which made me feel worse about my situation. I feel as though we spent more time discussing payment, instead of the actual case. At this point I was just going to go with any lawyer because my preliminary hearing was coming up real soon. I did some research again and ran into Andrea's profile on here. I decided to go consult with her. Thank god I did, best decision ever. Andrea truly knows whats shes doing. She cares for her clients, also makes herself available to you whenever needed. She didn't bs me like the other lawyers did. She was honest about everything, every step of the way. Answered allllll of my questions, lord knows I had plenty lol. I was really so stressed out about my case, Andrea could see it. She told me to let her handle the stress of the case and to continue living my life as if nothing had happened. She told me she would do everything in her power to help me, and that she did. She got me accepted into the ARD program, even with a prior conviction I had a year and a half ago. All thanks to her hard work. I would recommend her to anyone. I will forever be grateful. Andrea Mertz was a very impressive criminal attorney in a felony assault case recently. She did well for the defendant and I was a witness for the state against the defendant. How ever, I must say that she was very aggressive and did all possible angles to have any sentence kept to the lowest possible for her client. I and along with the other witness agree that Andrea Mertz is a great criminal lawyer. She explores all given information and worked very hard for her client. The other witness for the case stated that "She is a good attorney, she is a tiger". Even though we were witnesses for the state, she was very impressive to us and we would recommend her for anyone that needs help with criminal issues. We would like to recognize her hard work by saying that she was very impressive.

On our call, I could tell the other great reviews she has were true! She was patient and listened and then gave her wisdom and insights on what to do. Her demeanor was welcoming but professional. I'm blessed it was her. I'd recommend anytime ..God bless

I was facing two counts of drug possession charges and two counts of paraphernalia charges, after an extensive case andrea was able to get my drug possession charges thrown away and just keep the paraphernalia charges. in doing so she allowed me to keep my license and also as i was a college student in an engineering program, paraphernalia looks way better to employers than drug possession charges would have. also if i would have gotten the drug charges my financial aid would have been striped from me making college almost imberable to pay. all in all andrea did a great job and i would recommend her to anyone!

Andrea answered every question and walked me through all legal aspects of my case. I always knew she was only a phone call away. I found her on avvo. Due to her high ratings and now I can see why.

Andrea was a tremendous help with wy case. She kept me at ease with everything and was quite thorough. Hopefully I will not need her services again due to circumstances surrounding this case, but, I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
