I wrote to Mr. Geiger to inquire about possible representation or preliminary guidance in an urgent family-related foreclosure matter. Although he answered my emails quickly, despite my having stated that the situation was dire because we did could not find adequate representation in Pennsylvania (we live out of state), he simply flat out stated he could not help us. I am an attorney myself and cannot believe that a fellow bar member could not spend a few minutes providing a listening ear or a shred of information. I have myself done this for others on countless occasions. I'm actually glad that we found someone responsive, qualified, and willing to provide support during a crisis; in fact, every other contact we reached was responsive with at least some suggestions. Unfortunately, too often, lawyers forget their humanity. As it turns out, it was to our good fortune that this lawyer was "too busy" to assist us in any way.
Endorsements from fellow lawyers are an important consideration for many when selecting the right attorney. Be the first to endorse your colleague!
