Short Term Disability (STD) Appeal
My STD benefits was denied because a major insurance company felt I can go back to work 6 weeks after a second surgery contrary to my doctor’s advice. I went to Ed Sweeney and he immediately took action before I left his office on the first visit. One month later, he won my case and the benefits were returned. I was extremely impressed with the handling of my case and knew he would be my attorney for all future legal matters. He is dedicated, honest and an expert in his field. If you want an attorney not afraid to defend you against the insurance companies when they make wrong decisions, then I recommend Ed Sweeney Law firm. Thank you Ed, you’re the best!

You will be in good hands with him.
Mr. Edward Sweeney is an excellent lawyer. He always: • Keep communication with me. • Informed me of status about my case • Gave me the guidance needed to make good decisions. I really valued it! And one of the key supports, he did prepare me in advance for the mediation (what to expect, how to behave, and what the objective was, etc.). I really recommend Mr. Sweeney for your determination, professionalism and expertise. You will be in good hands with him.

Accused of Unemployment Fraud
Mr. Sweeney is a very knowledgeable, personable, and professional individual. He was always honest with me and was always available to answer my questions/concerns . Although I was extremely nervous through the proceedings, his confidence and experience helped to make me as comfortable as I could possibly be under the circumstances. He gave me the best advice in order for me to keep focused and remember what was important to my case, and to prevent me from losing my concentration. I felt that I appeared much more professional in front of the Judge because of his advice and counsel. I would recommend Mr. Sweeney to all who require legal assistance in any of his specialties. He treats you like a person and makes you feel like your case is as important to him as it is to you. I thought his fees were very reasonable and to be honest, was probably the best money I ever spent, considering the alternative if I had lost my case! I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly he was able to meet with me initially and spent more time with me than I expected. This is only my second experience with a lawyer, last experience being over 30 years ago, and I was very pleasantly surprised with his manner, efficiency, experience and personality. Thank you Mr. Sweeney. You made a very unfair situation become a case of "justice has been served".

Employment Agreement Support
Edward Sweeney, from the firm Wusinich, Brogan, and Stanzione provided expert support, advice and direction as it related to an employment severance negotiation and agreement. Ed's expertise, and advice, and prompt service were very much appreciated. Ed is a professional and demonstrated his expertise and responsiveness as I successfully managed my way through a sensitive negotiation.
