Brad Victor Shuttleworth

Designated by the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers as a Super Lawyer every year from 2016 through 2021, and as a Rising Star from 2008 through 2015, Mr. Shuttleworth is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He is proud to serve a broad client base throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Mr. Shuttleworth attained a B.S. degree in Business Administration at the LeBow College of Business of Drexel University in 2000. In 2004, he received his Juris Doctor from the James E. Beasley School of Law of Temple University. He served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph A. Dych in the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas before opening Shuttleworth Law, LLC in Center City Philadelphia in 2006. Since 2009, he has been with Alva & Shuttleworth, LLC.

Mr. Shuttleworth is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Criminal Defense Lawyer’s Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, and particularly the Criminal Justice Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association ("Criminal Justice Section"). In 2009, he served as the Treasurer of the Criminal Justice Section. In 2010, he served as the Chair-elect of the Criminal Justice Section, and served as the Chair in 2011. As part of his service as Chair of the Criminal Justice Section, he served as a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Commission on Judicial Selection and Retention (the "Judicial Commission"), and continues his volunteer work as an investigator for the Judicial Commission.
