Mr. Eagan initially presented himself to me as being highly knowledgeable in that area of estate law yet he still needed to hire a consultant (for which he billed of course) to review the case. He worked without a written contract and avoided billing me at the end of each month avoiding itemizing charges. Not surprisingly his final billing turned out to be 30% higher than discussed in phone conversations throughout the case. During the final billing he billed me a ludicrous amount and "allowed me to negotiate" the bill down to a merely ridiculous amount (based upon earlier numerous talks regarding what this case was going to cost). This is both an obvious and annoying tactic at the very least.
He has been practicing a great many years yet he does not retain instructions well and does not clearly recall aspects of our conversations from one phone call to the next. Although generally quite polite and congenial I can not recommend him based upon my experience.
