I ended up with charges of a DUI and I had one year left of nursing school. I sought help and my friend referred me to Rob. Thank God she did, he got me to a great alcohol and drug counselor, I did everything to get ARD before the preliminary even took place. And I endedon't up with ARD for the year.... Was able to graduate from nursing school, take my boards, pass and officially become a licenseday registered nurse. Thanks Rob!

A couple of months ago I got pulled into a mandatory DUI checkpoint. When I got my charges in the mail, I was barely over the legal limit but they also charged me for prescription medication I take. As a result of tragic circumstances involving individuals and events in my life, I had a severe (and clinical) emotional break-down and this resulted in a DUI. The immediacy of... this whole process (which I understand is unheard of) allowed me to coordinate the ARD period to coincide with the sabbatical from work and the time of rest I needed to recover from all of these events. This allowed me to reconcile thing with regards to the obligations specified by the law while also giving me a chance to medically recover from the depression which caused the event (thereby preventing an even greater tragedy from happening in the future).
