I was lucky to have come across Matthew Rapa when looking for a lawyer to represent me in a dui case. It would have been my second dui in ten years and I was almost positive I was going to end up in jail and then serve a lengthy probation sentence, license loss and of course pay ridiculous amounts in fines.
In every aspect of my case Matt was absolutely amazing! When I first met with him and we reviewed my case a little he was honest with me when he told me that it was going to be a tough case. There was some pretty strong evidence against me and depending on how it goes it might be best to take a plea agreement if I was offered one. The case ended up being stretched out over two years. After multiple continuances and pre-trial motions We were finally going to court. By this time Matt not only had that strong evidence against me suppressed but also gathered a lot of strong evidence to support our argument. He pays an immense amount of attention to detail. There is nothing that he missed. When it came to trial, the word prepared would be an understatement. During his cross examination of the arresting officer he didn't skip a beat. Lets just say It got ugly for the officer. In the end the jury came back with a verdict of not guilty in less than 15 minutes! Not every case will have the same outcome but I can guarantee that hiring Matthew Rapa is the best choice you could make if your in this situation. I couldn't thank him enough. After two years I finally can make plans for the future. I finally feel free again!

I was pulled over last year for no other reason than the fact that my car had tinted windows. The officer that pulled me over that day must have been bored anyway after he took my information to his car he came back and told me to get out of my car and told me he smelled marijuana and threatened to search my car so I gave him the approximately two grams of marijuana and a pipe that I had in the car. He then proceeded to give me a field sobriety test which he said I failed period he then took me to the DUI Center and charged me with a DUI they took my blood. At this point I was freaking out because it was the fourth DUI in my lifetime second in 10 years. I researched a ton of lawyers actually hired one before I found Matt and after I found that and talked with him I fired the previous lawyer. When we went to my preliminary hearing that was able to get the possession of marijuana and the possession of paraphernalia charges thrown out. I knew at that point I hired the right lawyer because he made the cop look like a complete and utter moron. I was have been looking at a few years in jail a serious fine and suspension of my license. That informed me that we had a good chance of getting a lot of the evidence thrown out if we went through a pre-trial motion to dismiss evidence and then took the case to trial and he was quite confident that we could get a not guilty verdict but he could not make me a guarantee which no lawyer ever can. After Matt put in the motion to suppress evidence the DEA came back with an offer dropping it down to a first offense lowest tier General impairment DUI. Matt told me he recommend that I take the deal only because it was guaranteed not because he didn't think we could beat the case at trial but this way there was no risk. I believed it to be the right decision and that's what I went with. Instead of going to jail for a couple years and paying a huge fine that was able to work it out so I got 6 months of probation I need to take alcohol safe driving classes and I pay the $300 fine. Matt I can not thank you enough. I would highly recommend Matthew Rapa to anybody that's in any kind of legal trouble he will not let you down his rates are fair and very reasonable.

I want to just say that Matt was very well prepared and was always available to me. He helped me get a much lesser penalty than I could have imagined. Was very informative and helpful in telling me exactly what to do for my case.
