Bankruptcy
Attorney Laputka walked us through the process of bankruptcy, advised of our obligations, etc. His advisement and what actually occurred matched perfectly. We were very at ease with him and found him to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

Shady
Consulted about tax liens on my home, bankruptcy was the only solution presented. He was unprepared for our phone interview and didn't mention the negative consequences of bankruptcy

Not friendly
I had a lawyer representing me for a case, but need to find another lawyer to prepare paper work for an early termination. So I called to see if he can help. However, his assistant told me that as I am represented already, they will not talk with me about the case.
I'm sorry you feel my office was unfriendly. It is my practice not to discuss legal matters with people who are already represented by another attorney in that matter. In fact, the Pennsylvania Rule of Professional Conduct, 204 Pa. Code ยง 81.4 (rule 4.2), legally prohibits me from speaking to party who is presently represented by another attorney, even if the person initiates the contact themselves.
