We hired Ms. Roberts for my husband's case. My husband was charged with theft because he's a contractor and the people who hired him weren't happy with the work. Since this happened once before in the past, and the case was never pursued in court, the police decided that my husband should be charged this time, but it wasn't fair because it's not stealing. My husband is honest and hard-working but not everyone is pleased in the end. You can please everyone. Ms. Roberts understood this and she walked us through the entire process. Everything she said would happen in court actually did happen just the way she said. She explained the viewpoints of the police and the DA and eventually, we got a good result. The charges were dropped from felonies to misdemeanors and we got a compromise on the amount of money owed back. Main thing is...she kept him out of jail! My husband isn't a thug! Thank you Ms. Roberts for guiding us. I'm happy to call you a friend now!

I got a DUI case in Macungie and the cops totally LIED about what happened. Ms Roberts told me she had a few tricks to use in court if needed to show the cops were lying but she said we might not have to if she could gently "persuade" the cops that the might be embarassed by the evidence we had on our side. I paid her $2,500, which is less than what a bunch of other lawyers quoted me. Well, long story short...I made the right choice for sure, since the DUI charge went away and I paid a fine. I really couldn't believe it because lawyers always tell you they're trying for one thing and then they let you down gently later. We've had lawyers handle criminal cases several times for us in New York and Virginia for various things and I never had a great impression that they could do that much but it changed after this lawyer. She asked me to put a review on here so people could know the truth about which lawyers can really help you. I hope I won't need her again or have any other cases with police, but if I do or anyone I know has one, I'll be sending them to her. i'm not putting in my name here cause I don't want any backlash from police. Thanks again Ms Roberts

M y son is a student at Muhlenberg College and got a DUI 9 months ago. We read that he would lose his license automatically because he was underage and this was the 2nd time he was arrested for a DUI (but the other one was in NJ). We were prepared to help him keep his record clean in whatever way we could but I knew that he'd probably end up with a long license suspension and since we don't live in Pa, he'd have to leave school or pay his roomate or something to drive him around all the time. Long story short, we were referred to Attorney Roberts by one of the Allentown police (a female police officer who was involved in taking our son into custody), who said this attorney knows all the police and judges and she will get us through the right way. We talked to a few other lawyers who specialize in DUI cases and it seemed like they wanted a fortune up front but with no promises. Attorney Roberts told us that she would shoot for trying to keep his record clean but she wouldn't lie to anyone because she could lose her lawyers license and that sometimes it's better to just come clean about your past.....in the end she was right. The DA respected it and was more lenient on my son than he had to be. I have had some bad experiences with lawyers in the past (although not criminal cases) but Attorney Roberts is the best. She always returned our phone calls immediately, even emails and texts. Why can't all lawyers be like her????

I hired Ms Roberts to handle my father's assault case. He's been with the same woman for 30 years but they're not married and she's got mental problems. She likes to injure herself or threaten to and then call the police. This time, she went too far, called her own kids and claimed my father was beating her. When the police got there, they seized a gun from the house (which my father rightfully owns and has a permit for) and then arrested him for "beating" her, even though all she had was a cut on her cheek. She told so many lies upon lies to different people but the police said they had to arrest on a domestic case. When we finally had the hearing a couple months later, the district attorney was very aggressive to push the girlfriend forward in testifying and was telling her that my father would always be an abuser. I had to intervene and let the district attorney know the whole story. But still she thought I was just defending my father out of loyalty. So Ms Roberts said we would have to do it the hard way and have a hearing. After 2 1/2 hours, the case was dismissed by the judge. The district attorney was mad and stormed out. But my father has restored his good name and his girlfriend is shown to be a liar. Thanks to Attorney Roberts. She predicted everything that would happen in this complicated situation exactly as it went down. Very experienced and explained everything to us. She asked me to write a review of her and I'm glad to do it. No hesitations--hire her!

My wife got a DUI last year. She's had major depression and her drinking got worse last year, then after the DUI, it got even worse and she got a 2nd DUI while she was on probation for the 1st one. I thought FOR SURE she was going to jail. I hired this lawyer in Bethlehem who barely would return my calls. I would call him 20 times for each time he would call me back. Then we switched and hired a female attorney who was supposedly very knowledgeable about DUI cases. Problem was, she also didn't respond very much. We were really weary of trying to switch lawyers again but I read and and heard from some friends about Ms Roberts so I called her. What a difference!!! I know I was calling her a lot and my wife is a handful,, but she carefully led us through this whole ordeal and my wife ended up not in jail. She's been off alcohol for 140 days now and we are so grateful. I offered Ms Roberts extra $$ and she said just go on Avvo and write a review of me so I did. I didn't know how a good lawyer is supposed to behave until we switched and just how bad the other 2 were until we hired Ms Roberts. Plus, she speaks Spanish! She told me she has to use an official interpreter in court, but still, it's good that she tries. She told me she also speaks Arabic, although I can't really speak on her ability in that. Don't hesitate, if you need an agressive and knowledgable attorney in criminal defense, it's all she does and boy is she good!

I've had a lot of lawyers over the years for different things and Ms Roberts is the best. Unfortunately, she doesn't practice law in other areas related to business or tax law. But when I needed a criminal defense attorney, she was recommended. I had a complicated PFA case because my ex and I are fighting over custody of 2 kids and he decided to claim I was abusing one of the kids. Then Children & Youth got involved. Then detectives contacted me saying criminal charges might be coming. It felt like an avalanche. To make a long story short, she and I were in constant contact for about a month, and she made EVERYTHING go away--my ex lost the PFA case, and Children & Youth closed the case saying no evidence of abuse and then the detectives never bothered me after that. If any of these accusations came really public, my whole reputation would have been ruined with my business, my neighbors and friends and a lot more. Ms Roberts navigated me through this and I was really scared. She asked me to go on here and write an endorsement for her. I'm more than happy to do it.

We were seeking someone to aggressively handle our grandson's case and try to prevent charges from being filed involving his ex-girlfriend. We hired Attorney Roberts when my husband talked to his boss, who recommended her and then my husband's friend (a retired police officer) also told us to call her. We met with her just 2 times but had many many phone calls inbetween. Her prices wasn't cheap, but we expected that because she is well-known and gets it done. She certainly got it done for us. My grandson never ended up having any charges filed at all, thank god, because his ex's claims were ridiculous and could have ruined his school career and his life. We owe you all the credit Attorney Roberts!
Endorsements from fellow lawyers are an important consideration for many when selecting the right attorney. Be the first to endorse your colleague!
