Awesome !

Heather represented my son last year regarding drug charges. My son was placed in rehab before trial and Heather made sure that the court system as well as the bail bondsman was informed of what was going on. Months later when my son went to trial he was awarded probation for 18 months and had to p...ay restitution. If it not for Heather my son could have been in jail. He didn't need jail time he needed rehabilitation. Now Heather is representing one of my son's friends on a DUI charge. He left the scene and had a high blood alcohol level. Heather is trying to place him in a program and probation instead of jail time. We are in the process of starting the program so it's new. I would recommend Heather for anyone who needs a good criminal defense lawyer. She communicates with you and if you don't understand she explains it well to you. The law can be intimidating but she makes it okay and puts you at ease. Like I said, I have used her and only have good to say about her.

Excellent layer for reasonable prices!

Heather was very personable yet professional. She worked around my schedule to accommodate my time requirements with a hectic schedule. Ms. Reiner was very understanding and knowledgeable of the laws, and presented them in court very well. I ended up with receiving probation out of a case that could ...have been very serious if turned out the wrong way. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great attorney for a reasonable price!

Assault

I couldn't of chosen a better attorney for my case. Very professional, seeks clients best interests. Extremely helpful, very kind. Straight forward with what she can do to help you. I had multiple charges, and walked out of court with just one. I highly recommend Heather.

If you think you may need to go to trial, choosing her would be your biggest mistake!!

Where to begin, before you hire her she WILL call you weekends, evenings, etc. But once she has your money: don't expect any attention from her. I hired her & at the very beginning she was "going to defend me with everything she had", until she saw how much evidence/work had to be done and then it w...as all over for me, "my goose was cooked". Granted, I wasn't able to keep making bi-weekly payments due to getting fired constantly because of the charges but I paid an initial decent amount upfront & she said at that time she was accepting it knowing she probably won't get the other $1,000 but was okay with that. That was her words. And I did pay some towards the $1,000 I still owed but it made no difference. She has refused to do any pretrial motions, made major decisions effecting my case without even checking with me. I kept begging & pleading with her to do the stuff that needed done but it fell on "deaf ears". Would you believe she hasn't even listened to my full story of what happened from beginning to end yet (and trial starts tomorrow and it's a pretty big involved case) even thou I said to her multiple times I need to tell her please. The list goes on and on but final thing I want to mention is: she has had discovery for two months or so and I just saw there was a whole cd of evidence the police/prosecution didn't give us and she never looked close enough at the police reports to catch it. And when I told her: she had the attitude of "oh well" and did nothing. She definitely doesn't want to take any case to trial, she is what I would consider a "plea bargin attorney" and the problem with that is some times a plea can't be worked out. And watch out when she says she will try to get a better plea offer: she said that to me and instead it became a worse offer!! I would stay as far away as you can from this attorney and you know it must be really bad if I'm writing this while she is still my attorney, no, I fired her, but in our great system it may happen the judge won't let her withdraw so I can get a public defender. So I may get screwed but writing this so others don't get screwed!!!

I am sorry to hear your feelings on my representation. I worked diligently to comply with your requests, to reply to your almost daily calls and emails, and to advocate for you with the District Attorney and Judge. I communicated with you even while on vacation with my family to keep you appraised of developments in your case. I am sorry that I did not achieve the outcome you wanted, it exceeded what I had even believed possible.
