About me

Anne is a shareholder with CGA Law Firm and heads the Labor
& Employment Law Department. Anne concentrates her practice on counseling
employers and human resource professional on employment law. She has
successfully defended clients at all levels of proceedings, including the
Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission and Department of Labor.  She represents business clients in local,
state and federal employment matters.  In
addition to representing executives, Anne also has a wide representation of
independent physicians groups.


Anne's practice emphasizes the
prevention of employment liability, defending against employment claims and
assisting clients with compliance issues concerning the multitude of employment
laws and regulations governing employers. Anne also counsels employers,
practice groups and health care providers on employment law compliance, risk
management and HIPAA compliance.


Anne has conducted multiple seminars on Employment Law
Compliance, Risk Management of Employment Related Claims, HIPAA Privacy
Compliance, HIPAA Transactions and Code Sets, and HIPAA Security Rule
Compliance for employers, health care providers, health care associations and
physician practices. Anne has also taught Continuing Legal Education Seminars
on HIPAA and its impact on the Legal Community for the York County Bar


Anne also serves her community by participating as a member
of the Board of Directors of a non-profit, federally qualified health center,
Family First Health.  Anne previously served
as a member of the Board of Directors of the York County Chamber of Commerce,
where she worked with local business leaders to address the problems facing
local business. Leadership York
recently awarded Anne Outstanding Alumnus of the Year for her community
service.  She is also a featured speaker
and past board member of the York Society of Human Resource Managers.  Anne resides in York, PA
with her husband and two children.


Representative Matters


  • Defended client in
    civil action alleging discrimination related to the discharge of employee.  Case dismissed.

  • Successfully
    defended numerous clients in wage and hour complaints and prevailing wage

  • Successfully
    litigated a case of first impression in Pennsylvania
    involving physician restrictive covenants.

  • Conducted numerous
    employee training programs on harassment, discrimination and other employment
    law issues.
