Step parent adoption matter. I want to give her 100 stars but Google wont allow me to. Best family attorney, so sweet, patient, confident, always responsive. I cant say enough about this lady, I just think that hiring her is the best thing that me and my husband did. Thanks for handling the most important matter of our lives.

Mrs. Costopoulos represented me in September 2014 and helping me rescuing my two children from a really bad environment. Now my children are thriving and succeeding socially and academically. She explained to me that since the custody order does not state any times or or designated days that if I am at the designated meet place for the child and the mother to have there visitation and time was set for say 130 and she texts then saying she was not gonna make it for 1-3 hours that even if it is a half an hour I can legally leave and she will have to reschedule her visit and I will not get into trouble for say visitation interference

Jeanne is an outstanding lawyer. I used her for several different issues over a 10 year time and I have recommended her to my daughter and several friends who used her and were very happy with her service and the outcome of their cases. She communicates with her clients well, informing them of the steps in the process and what to expect. She also has an awesome payment plan and all prices are laid out at her consultation so there are no surprises!

There is not enough I can say about Attorney Jeanne Costopoulos. From her first words of advice going into the divorce, to every court hearing and child support hearing, Jeanne has provided me with strong sound legal advice and representation. Though I'm sure every case has it obstacles, I believe I'm safe in saying and repeating the words of the judge involved in my case, mine is one of the worst. with that being said, with Jeanne as my attorney I have been awarded sole physical and legal custody of my minor boys, exclusive possession of three properties, defiant trespass papers were successfully served against my ex, I have been awarded child support in excess of $600.00 per month, we have never lost a hearing. I am greatful for Jeanne, I can't imagine that I would have made out like I have without Jeanne in my corner. And I am a Man..

Although I lived in Florida my fairly complicated divorce case had to be handled by a PA law firm attorney Costopoulos then worked for. My first and last personal meeting with her was 7 years ago. She impressed me as a very fine lawyer who was extremely knowledgeable in divorce law. She was very confident and reassuring. Personal and professional connection was established and my goals defined. Next 3 months we worked via phone, email, fax. She always got back to me the same day I reached her office. That fact was extremely important to me because my divorce was an agonizing event and prompt and correct answers saved me lots of sleepless nights. The agreement was signed. The result of our work was both impressive and satisfying. I could not have had a better result and attorney experience. My divorce was yet to be finalized when I found out Jeanne opened her own law firm. Without slightest hesitation I moved my file to her new firm. Over the following years whenever I had a question or needed information she was the source that never failed. When Jeanne opened a new branch in Pittsburgh I wrote to her wishing her success. I have no doubt her professional and personal qualities will help her build and maintain extensive and human law practice .

*Through my Custody battle, Jeanne was up front and honest from the door. I would highly recommend Jeanne to anyone. For myself, this was my first rodeo with any kind of issue needing a lawyer. I was very scared and nervous. I only want the best for my son no matter the outcome. From our first visitation Jeanne was excellent and I knew without hesitation Jeanne was the lawyer I wanted to help see me through this "nightmare" as I called it. Jeanne is a knowledgable, caring, honest individual and fantastic lawyer. Love her !

My child’s mother left the city of Philadelphia after getting evicted along with her cousin and his girlfriend, went and got pregnant again, then went and told a city I don’t live in she was being abused and threatened. I contacted Ms. Jeanne and although she sounded like a stand up attorney before court, I soon realized I may have been mistaken. She came late several times to court on a matter of a father trying to see his son, which is important to me. I feel like if she spoke to me the way she spoken to the defendant, I would have had a better result of the court proceedings. She was never responsive when I asked her how should I prepare being as though I’m new to this type of court. Days would go past and I don’t hear from her until court, it seemed as it she could care less. When I went to the York court website myself I seen all of this information ms jeanne did not provide me during our 2 month long court case I asked her to highlight the use of an co parenting app to make things easier, never was mentioned. She said less in court than she did on the phone with me, leaving me confused. I feel like Ms. Jeanne is your attorney if you need paperwork filed out, but representing you I’m not confident in. She made it felt like I was bothering her because I’m a concerned parent. She doesn’t really explain child custody laws I had to do my own research because I she mentioned little to nothing except how much everything would cost, that’s where she was the most detailed.

If you need further clarification regarding my responses to your emails or if you have any additional questions about custody law or court procedure that are too lengthy to discuss by email, or if you simply have an issue with me personally, you may always use the scheduling link to schedule a one-hour Zoom or phone appointment for which you would not be charged a fee since unlimited client meetings and correspondence are always included in my retainer fee. I find it odd that you would choose to bash me on public forums like Avvo and Google without first contacting me to discuss how you perceived your case was being handled. Are you upset that I did not help you become a legal expert, that I was too honest about what facts I consider to be the most relevant in custody litigation, or that litigation can get expensive when one of the parties does not cooperate or abide by the court order? From my perspective, I thought I did a good job by facilitating a withdrawal of the PFA filed against you and subsequently obtaining an order for custody rights that you did not have prior to my involvement. I can understand your frustration that you share a child with someone who may not be honest and who may pick and choose when she wants to abide by the court order, but I do not have the authority to personally enforce the order, I can only file petitions on your behalf to modify the current order or to seek to have her held in contempt for violating the order. If you no longer wish for me to represent you, please contact me and I will forward a form to you to complete which removes me as your attorney of record with the court. Alternatively, if you would like to discuss my continued representation moving forward then please schedule a phone or Zoom conference at your convenience.
