Go Broke with Lauren !

If I could leave 0 stars for this Money grabbing firm, I would. I have already been billed more than $25962.45 by this firm to handle my divorce. I have already paid $21949.95 of that amount. I was billed $4012.50 today after I asked for a withdrawal form and They wanted another $4000 retainer next ...month, December 2025 to continue to represent me. This is a divorce from a long marriage, 56 years & counting. I am the one providing all of the financial information on assets & values. My husband provides nothing. And this firm just permits that lack of reporting by him to continue. No challenge at all. Of course, when I provide all of the information, this firm takes their good old time putting it into a legal document that I pay for. I have had enough. They wanted me to OK a discovery document that I disagreed with. One that did not include information that I requested . And after they EVEN asked me to provide a list of what I wanted in discovery….they IGNORED IT. I finally requested a form to sign to have them withdraw from representing me. WATCH YOUR POCKET BOOKS GUYS IF YOU DECIDE TO PLACE YOUR TRUST IN DARBOUZE LAW. You’ll be broke and will likely have lost your case too.

Representer of Domestic Abusers

The Darbouze Law Firm claims to support anti-Domestic Violence causes but has no issues taking money from and representing domestic abusers. Even after knowing the type of person they are representing. The love of money is a powerful thing and it has caused this firm to compromise the morals and ethi...cs of they want people to believe they have.

Worst most shallow attorney I've seen.

Lawyer wouldn't even set up a consultation. Just showed up, got it handed to me and left cause she was "too busy"

Michael, I gave you multiple phone consultations over the span of two months. You waited until the day before your hearing to retain my office and then failed to tell me the full story. I can only play the hand I'm dealt. We did our best and kept you out of jail. I'd count that a victory. Folks, tell your attorneys EVERYTHING even if you think it may paint you in a bad light. We need to know your entire case so that we can prepare the best defense.

Not very ethical.

She consistently insisted on holding my husband accountable for unnecessary work and counsel fees. Even when I suggested a simple letter to remind him of an issue, she went and filed a court order, against my wishes, and made sure to include her fee, which was twice as much as my husbands attorney es...timated. She also failed to mention times of these court appearances in an attempt to prevent my husband and his attorney from defending himself. If you are trying to have a simple, civil divorce, she is not the one for this. She constantly tried to bully me into changing any agreement I had previously made and agreed to with my husband. I feel she tried to manipulate me in an attempt to drag out the process and turn it into a lengthy court battle for her own financial gain. I stopped using her services and let my husbands attorney handle everything and it went incredibly smooth.

horrible

I would not recommend Lauren unless you had a very easy, slam dunk case. Even then, I would be reluctant. She did a horrible job representing me and lost all 3 aspects of my case. She came unprepared for my hearing and didn't even meet with me before the trial. I had documents for her to use and ...she did not use any of it. She charged me for hours of preparation which is a joke since it probably took her 10 minutes to write the questions she used. Had she met with me beforehand she would have known what things to ask to show my ex as an uninvolved parent. So, now I am worse off than I was before I hired her, and have to fight to not only get what I originally wanted, but to get back what I started with. Look somewhere else, don't let the hourly fee fool you like it did me.
