I found Mr. Pollock through the NLSA (Legal Aid) program and he did exceptional work. I was very happy to have an attorney of his caliber avail himself to this program and represent me when I was unable to otherwise afford good counsel. He represented me in an initial child support case and I am happy with the settlement. If you are the strong type to know how to negotiate and rebuttal during a settlement, he will complement you very well. He is happy to oblige you to negotiate what things you can think of to ask for on your own. His correspondence to opposing counsel was great and he did have a few tricks up his sleeve which benefited me and the information I was able to utilize in order to advance my position. I am a high needs client sending numerous emails and phone calls (typically on a daily basis) and he always responded to each contact the same day or in less than 24 hours.

I have been in consultation with Attorney Pollock for approximately three years on separate issues. His reply to any contact I made, along with his compassionate and consistent assistance, has helped our family greatly. His advice was sound and helpful!!
Recently, on a matter in which he did not usually represent, he was honest and referred me to another attorney, who also was greatly helpful and kind. It was clear to this family that with his level of dedication and effort, even though we couldn't hire him for a recent matter, we would certainly wish to retain him if need be in the future. Thank you, Attorney Pollock.

I called Mr. Pollock last week to discuss a family matter in which I am involved. I was seeking out of state counsel for my mother. During our initial and only phone conversation, there was never any mention of a consultation fee, nothing. Actually I thought our conversation was very pleasant. I advised Mr. Pollock that I had two other attorneys I was considering and he was the first to call me back. He sent a follow up email with his rates. Still no mention of any consultation fee nor a retainer agreement. Based upon a conversation with another attorney, I had decided that someone else was a better fit for my case. Once I let Mr. Pollock know that I had decided to go in a different direction and I would keep him in mind for the future, he sends me an extremely odd yet somewhat threatening email suggesting that if I don't pay him $50, they he would not be able to keep our phone call confidential. Last time I checked, when you speak to any attorney, there is an automatic attorney-client privilege. I have had dozens of high-profile attorneys in my employ over the past 13 years and never have I once EVER been charged a consultation fee. Nor have I had anyone threaten me to pay them to keep our "42 minute conversation" confidential. Mainly consisting of information regarding his recent cruise he had taken and how the Steelers were doing. Well clearly, Mr. Pollock needed the $50.00. I am so glad I did not hire this person. This just shows the type of person he is and I certainly would not feel comfortable with his representation.

Jeff handled my problem in an efficient manner. It was an urgent matter and he was able to quickly have it resolved. I am planning to have him handle other matters for me.

Mr. Pollock prepared several POA Documents for me during a family crisis. Unfortunately, I had procrastinated in the handling of my affairs but Jeff's skills are that of fortitude and diligence. He made certain that we had a successful resolution to my matters. It was very comforting to know that I not only had his support but his many years of lawyering on my side. Oh, and did I mention he is also a talented Pittsburgh actor, witty, and just plain old super smart? JLP comes highly reccomended by me.

Have used Jeff on several occasions for family law matters. Working with Jeff is comforting, reliable and an ultra professional experience. He is well-versed in his skills and he gets things done efficiently with all of his "t's" crossed and "i's" dotted. He is fair, accessible and honestly quite pleasant to work with. I trust him wholeheartedly and would recommend him and his practice to anyone in need.

All my case began like a nightmare that became real when I went to jail for Escort service. Leaving the next day from jaiI i start to investigate an attorney who had experience in the laws of Pennsylvania.
I was fortunate to see the profile of Dr. Jeffrey Pollock, the catch my eyes with his 28 years the career, but more left me surprised were the reviews that he had. I contact Jeffrey by phone, he asking me for my life, in both ways personal an professional. It gave me the impression that likes to know the life and personality of your clients. Not only how much will cost its services as a lawyer.
In my case he's service was expensive, but my chargers were complicated in the beginning. But I don't regret any single penny.
He care about you, i never going to forget when I went to Pittsburgh after the situation in jail. I saw for first time Jeffrey, he was focus in advice me first, before all the decisions I'll make In the first trial.
I had to face again the two detectives who arrested me. "It was very difficult to live that moment", but I can say that with Dr. Jeffrey Pollock I felt more protected than ever. He always is taking notes about every single detail there it's important, I felt that day proud with him, he express experience and wisdom regarding the laws of Pittsburgh.
After I talk with him, he defend me in court with the detectives in different charges that they tried to put, when the only thing that had put me was by prostitution.
After that first trial I return to Miami confident that I was in good hands. During the 5 months of process he or his assistant sent me emails, he always take my calls. And he informed on time the news of my case, and he had contact all the time with the lawyer of my persecution.
I truly believe the he love to help people, he is a professional, respectful lawyer.

Jeff was my attorney through the process of obtaining shared custody of my then infant son. He listened to me first, and then recommended the course of action that would minimize my costs while meeting my goal of getting 50/50 custody of my son.

I hired Jeff right after my table reading when he presented himself as more than an attorney, but that of a compassionate human being. I know lawyers get a bad reputation for being the scum of the earth, but Jeff is the exception to that rule when he talked to my daughters about their situation with how the divorce was affecting them.
Jeff continually surprises me with his Acts of Random Kindness and looking out for my family's well being.
I've talked to several attorneys, and I am a person who chooses people based on their actions, not on what they say. And Jeff continues to impress me with his loyalty of not just my attorney, but also my friend.
