I hired Todd Spivak for a Summary Offense case where to say the least I did something wrong that I was looking to keep off my record. The evidence did not seem to be in my favor as I had two law enforcement officials (LEOs) testifying against me with no witnesses on my end. In all likelyhood, I woul...d've been found guilty without legal representation and Todd Spivak was the right lawyer for this sort of case. Todd Spivak was able to negotiate with the local judge to have the charges reduced to a warning and was able to help me keep my record clean. Overall, Todd Spivak came off as legally knowledgable, diplomatic, competent, honest, negotiable, and ethical. Todd Spivak is also the type of lawyer who can win a case in a manner that does not feel like a pyrrhic victory, one will go home with charges that are either dropped or reduced without causing any bad feelings between a client and the judge, prosecution, or LEOs testifying against the client. I would definitely recommend Todd Spivak to anyone in the Pittsburgh area who is seeking representation for a Summary Offense case at least.

Mr. Spivak was extremely helpful in expunging my criminal record. He sent me updates throughout the entire process and when I called to make sure that it was complete he personally went to the magistrates office to find out for me. He always called me back rather than a secretary or someone else that... works in his office and was very personable. His fee was moderately expensive compared to other lawyers in the area, but considering all of the follow up he did it was absolutely worth the expense.
