Robert David Raver

Robert D. Raver, Esquire is an Attorney and the owner of Raver Law Firm PLLC.  His practice spans all aspects of divorce, including equitable distribution, custody and support. Bob also negotiates and drafts prenuptial, postnuptial, property settlement, and marriage settlement agreements.  In addition to his work on cases, Bob is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association, and participates in the Family Law Section and Young Lawyers Division of the ACBA.

A natural writer and lecturer, Bob frequently authors articles and speaks on family law topics.  Bob served as an articles/comments editor for the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, the official quarterly publication of the PBA, and he has contributed multiple case notes to the publication.  Bob has presented and prepared materials for the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section semi-annual meetings on four (4) occasions.  Bob has also taught Tax Aspects of Separation and Divorce to accountants and attorneys in the Pittsburgh area.  

Bob received his Juris Doctor from the Duquesne University School of Law, where he served as a member of the Family Law Society. He remains an active member of the alumni association and he currently judges first-year oral arguments. He received a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Political Science and International Studies and from Penn State.

Bob lives in the North Hills with his Wife, Shayna, and their son, Ben.  Bob enjoys an active lifestyle; he counterbalances his hours spent in the office and courtroom by competitively cycling.  Bob grew up playing hockey, and is a deeply devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Go Pens!
