You are in a tough position. Based on what you've said, your husband can't simply stop making payments on the mortgage if he feels like it...not only is he breaking your divorce stipulation/court order, he might be found to be in contempt of court if he is purposely trying to make you lose the house. But none of that matters to the bank, they want to get paid.
To your questions a) you would have to sign a deed if you are on the current deed, and b) there are things, including a bankruptcy filing or a show cause order to the judge in the foreclosure (or perhaps the divorce case) but those things would require a lawyer. Eventually, I think you have to find a way to pursue your husband for the payments he is not making, and if he's broke, that might be difficult.See question

i have no savings. i live in a rental apartment. i live on ssd. from check to check. i moved to pa. now. i can not pay any money that is owed. what can happen to me?
I don't believe NYS would go after your SS, no. Why don't you file a hardship claim with them, if the money is noncollectable?See question
My mother contacted an attorney and she said everything belongs to her. There was not a will.
But you must be contesting the estate because there is money involved? Maybe an attorney could work on a contingency, if you have a good case?
But anyway, if your father was survived by his wife, she probably (in any state) would probably inherit, all else being equal. I don't know about "everything" but it would of course depend on the circumstances.See question

I believe you need to have what is called an ancillary probate in Florida to title the property to the estate so you can then sell it. A Fla probate attorney can help you do this.See question
