Hire another lawyer

Shari made the process overly adversarial and toxic, she fought over everything which delayed the entire process to no one's benefit but her billable hours. If you want a wrecking ball taken to any hope of coparenting or getting along with your ex once this unpleasant process is over - HIRE ANOTHER... LAWER !

Rude, abrasive, and condescending

Simply put don’t hire her. She was rude, abrasive and condescending. More often than not I left our conversations feeling insulted, talked down to and wondering who’s side she was on. She often was trying to turn a simple family court issues into a long drawn out expensive ordeal to run up the billab...le hours. She’s as pleasant as a porcupine. Don’t waste your money on this woman. There are plenty of better options.

Do not hire

Unfortunately I hired Shari, she is not organized and she was prolonging the case for billable hours. Absolute worst attorney I ever hired. So bad, I fired her after about $8000 I spent. She care nothing about my case or my family. She was forgetful and wasted so much of my time and money. I hired a ...different attorney after Shari did nothing, and in a couple of months my family divorce ordeal was over. It was amazing how an attorney that actually cared got the job done that Shari was totally lost on. Because of her work, my divorce took so much longer than it had to. Please shop around for someone who cares about your family. Shari cared about her income in my case.

Run fast!

Took my $350 consult fee. 1/2 way through consult said she couldn't represent me with certain judge die to representing that judges ex in court. Then... Never showed up for court. Said she'd sent her associate who didn't show up either. When I approached her office, associate said she didn't know ...Anything about my case and would have SJ contact me. 1.5 weeks later she did asking for me to send financials to court. I respectfully reminded her she hadn't showed up in court and I had hired a different attorney. Don't hire SJ. SHE is obviously too busy or becoming ill with dementia.

There seems to be a good deal of confusion on this person’s part. S/he was specifically told during the consultation that the firm could not represent her. Nobody from the firm appeared on this person’s behalf as we were conflicted out. I am sorry s/he did not understand and apologize for any discomfort s/he felt at the court appearance. Shari Jo Reich

Experienced and Fights for You

Shari Jo comes to the table with decades of experience in matrimonial law, yet pays attention to every detail of the new cases she takes on. This combination of experience and attention to detail is extremely effective. In my situation, she was informed, prepared and strategic in every step of a leng...thy legal process. My advice would be trust her to do what she does best - handle matrimonial cases with expertise and conviction. She showed me that she genuinely believed in what is just and right, worked for just that and won.
