I live in Gowanda, about 45minutes away from Dennis's office. Dennis had someone come pick me up and drive me all the wya to his office to talk about my dwi. Dennis did an excellent job. I know I made a mistake and was very afraid I would never drive again but Dennis got me out of trouble and I still got to keep my job. Thank you again.

dennis is gruff and rude. continually told me that i would need to shave my beard etc to get a job, like he was my dad or something.
his son is negligent beyond anything that anybody i have consulted with has ever heard. an all around terrible experience that has forever altered my life for the worse, as i have used all my deferments allotted for my car and school loan, went bankrupt, moved home at age 36, and my finances are ruined and will take countless years to recover.
they dropped the ball on my disability; stopped in on 3 separate occasions between january '14 and may '15 to file disability. in oct '14 i asked about the status of my case; i was told by his son charles (who handles ssd) that i spoke to his father and requested that they withdraw my ssd case (???) why would i withdraw it, and why would i speak to his father about it? well, we "refiled" (or as it turns out, didnt) and again in may i inquired (told in january and october of '14 that it would take 6-8 months to hear a response from ssd - among many untruths i was told). in may, charles seemed shocked i still hadnt heard anything, and requested to meet me at the social sec office in west seneca. while we waited to be called, he told me there was some special way to file where you skip right to a hearing and it only takes about 3-4 months for a hearing. i went to the office with him and filed online for the third time in 17 months. they abruptly stopped responding to any and all communiques. upon hiring a new attorney, it was found that i had applied in jan '14 but was denied due to incomplete filing (he never got my records after i signed releases) he had never done anything other than the online part of the application, in his office with me. he never did anything on the following two occasions (oct '14 and may '15) now i know why he wanted to split and get out of the soc sec office that day in may; he knew he never filed for me and didnt want me to find that out when we wouldve been called up. i also found w my new lawyer that after filing online in the office, i had to complete the application at home online. this among many other details were neglected or entirely fabricated by the gaughans. i was told not to work and to quit my job because "its hard to convince them you cant work if youre working" contrary to the advice of every other attorney i ran my case by in my search for new representation. soc sec wants to see that you are trying to work.
an all around terrible experience that left other lawyers speechless, saying things like "ive been in practice for (insert number of years) and ive never heard of anything like this before"
"i dont know what to say... wow... just wow..." was how one lawyer reacted.
an all around terrible experience that has forever altered my life for the worse, as i have used all my deferments allotted for my car and school loan, went bankrupt, moved home with mom at age 36, and my finances are ruined and will take countless years to recover.

I purchase and sell investment property. Marie at Dennis' office picked up the phone each time; any problems she would immediately call the other side. I am easily frustrated by electronic phone systems. It was nice to have someone pick up the phone whenever a question arises.
Good upbeat atmosphere. Enjoy calling or stopping by the office.

Im from florida and just moved up to hamburg. when we moved the movers decided to drop my things and broke many of them. Dennis Gaughan helped me get compensation for the things the movers broke and it didn't cost me that much.

I went to Dennis in an emergency. He calmed me down and quickly resolved my issues regarding bankruptcy. I did have to wait a while in the waiting area, but it was well worth the wait. He did my entire bankruptcy petition while I sat there. Will recommend to anyone.
