About me

Nisha V. Fontaine joined the immigration firm of Serotte Reich Wilson, LLP as an associate in January 2010 after relocating from San Antonio, Texas.   Ms. Fontaine concentrates her practice in the areas of family-based immigration, employment-based immigration and admissibility issues.  She has written appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals, the Administrative Appeals Office and has represented clients in immigration court.


Ms. Fontaine (nee Jagtiani) was born in Mumbai, India and raised in the United States.  She grew up in a bilingual home and is fluent in English and Hindi.  Her background as an immigrant propelled her into a professional career as an immigration attorney. 


Ms. Fontaine graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.  Ms. Fontaine subsequently earned her law degree at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where she participated in the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic.  Ms. Fontaine also completed her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at St. Mary’s University.  Additionally, Ms. Fontaine is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
