About David

5
Practice areas
  1. Estate planning
    30%
Proper legal estate planning ensures the necessary legal documents are in place to keep you in control of your assets as long as you are able and when you are not, to put people you trust in control.

  2. Trusts
    30%
While a Revocable Trust permits you to maintain full control (as Trustee) and have access to all your assets (as beneficiary), an Irrevocable Trust permits full control as trustee but does not allow you or your creditors to access it's assets.

  3. Medicaid and medicare
    16%
Medicaid planning is taking the necessary steps now to ensure that if the need for long-term care (nursing home or assisted living) should arise for you, you will be eligible for Medicaid to pay for it.

  4. Probate
    10%
The worst part of probate is having to deal with expensive legal requirements and courts to do what you believe you should be able to do automatically all while you are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Contact us to meet our probate department!

  5. Wills and living wills
    10%
A Will is your simple instructions to tell the court who will get the assets you own after you die and who will ensure it gets done (your Executor). Without a Will, your assets will go to the people the State of New York dictates.

  6. Real estate
    2%

  7. Guardianship
    1%

  8. Other

They gave me piece of mind
The Estate Planning Law Center did an excellent job providing me piece of mind in making sure what I've worked hard for was protected. I attended the free workshop and met with an attorney that provided me all the answers to my questions and made sure I had a solid Estate Plan in the event that my loved ones needed to carry out my plans if something happened to me.
