L.J. D’Arrigo is a Partner in the Immigration Practice Group at at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna (the Capital Region's largest law firm) where he assists in the daily management of the Immigration Practice Group, including management, training and development of staff. He specializes in corporate and professional immigration involving employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions, labor certification, and family-based immigration. L.J. represents our region’s top employers in securing employment-based visas and counseling employers on compliance issues. He has developed an expertise in assisting technology companies and research institutions in importing highly-skilled labor to fuel local growth in the technology and semiconductor industries. Prior to this, he served as Of Counsel and Associate Attorney after his graduation from Albany Law School, where he served as the Managing Editor for Lead Articles on the Albany Law Environmental Outlook Journal. L.J. first joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna as a paralegal in 1997, where he continued to be employed until his graduation from law school. L.J. also worked as a paralegal at Foley, Hoag & Elliot in Boston, MA.

L.J. is a 2013 honoree of the Capital Region Business Review's 40 Under Forty award, exemplifying leadership in business and community involvement. He has also been designated as a SuperLawyers Rising Star for 2015 and 2016.

L.J. D’Arrigo is a member of the New York Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He currently serves as Chair of the Upstate New York Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). L.J. also serves on the Board of Directors for The Legal Project. He is also a Licensed Real Estate Broker and member of The New York State Association of Realtors, The Greater Capital Region Association of Realtors, and CIREB (Commercial and Industrial Real Estate Brokers, Inc.).
