When I was served with custody and divorce papers after already having a separation agreement that wasn't working I knew I needed to get a great lawyer. I could not have asked for a better advocate for my case. Barrett and his team were always available for me to speak with no matter what day or ti...me issues came up. He was compassionate and caring and he and his team were always able to help me remain calm when emotions were running hot. I would recommend him to anyone looking for the best family law attorney in the Albany area. Currently being out state could have caused a lot of complications however he made everything run as smoothly as it could with minimal travel time to N.Y. I feel very blessed to have had such a kind and caring attorney who definitely looked out for my best interests throughout the divorce process. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. Divorce and child custody are never easy issues to tackle but with Barrett on your side you can rest assured that you will have the best possible outcome.

I hired Barrett after doing a ton of research on custody lawyers for my custody case. I knew from my first meeting with Barrett that he was the right attorney. He worked hard on my case to achieve my desired outcome. He was always available to answer my questions and always responded in a timely mann...er. Even after my case had settled Barrett has been available to answer follow up questions and concerns of mine. Over the years I have used many different attorneys. I always felt like they were just taking my money and not taking my case seriously. This is not Barrett! He understands that the outcome is something my family would have to live with and so he made sure to do his best. I will hire Barrett again should the need ever arise.

Barrett Mack was the original lawyer for my divorce trial and I retained him again when my ex filed an appeal of the judgment of divorce. Barrett completed all of his filing/paperwork with the court in a timely fashion and was able to support his argument against the appeal with citations of law. H...e displayed an accurate understanding of the laws that applied to my case and utilized them to bolster his arguments in court. Barrett and his team of lawyers worked diligently on my case throughout the time it took to argue and win this appeal. When Barrett argued my case in front of the appellate division, he utilized concise statements and his knowledge of the applicable laws was extensive. He was able to win my case because of all of this. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the professionalism and kindness of Barrett and the staff members in his office. Each person is treated with respect and they work hard for their clients and their clients’ interest. I would highly recommend Barrett Mack and his office.
