I was the seller, and I didn't come to closing (5 hours away). They wanted to charge 200 to wire funds which is absolutely theft of services since the banks charge $20, and then decided they don't and won't do wire transfers anymore. They waited 4 days to put the funds in the overnight envelope prov...ided by my attorney, and they sent my attorney proceeds to me . Now I have the check but it's not certified funds so I need to wait for funds to clear as r.... meanwhile their clients (buyers) have the key to the house the day of closing. The gentlemen in the firm who answered the phone was amazing, but his hands were tied by the people running the show. If I ever have to do business with this firm I will tell buyers they get the key to the house WHEN I GET PAID. Poor business practices.
