After representing insurance carriers and employers for almost a decade, I saw a need in my community began representing injured workers and disabled individuals. My unique experience and perspective allow me to empathetically and honestly handle cases from start to finish.
Sarah is a workers' compensation attorney, representing injured workers throughout New York State. Sarah passed the 2008 New York State Bar Exam, but unfortunately became seriously ill in early 2009. After her recovery, she returned to the practice of law in 2012, representing employers and insurance carriers in workers' compensation claims. Grateful for her recovery and health, in 2021, she made the decision to take her experience and perspective and represent injured workers' and disabled individuals.
Sarah enjoys meeting with her clients and helping them successfully navigate the workers' compensation system during what can be a difficult time in their lives. In addition to litigating workers' compensation cases, Sarah has also had a number of appellate wins at the Board level and Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department. Sarah had the honor of presenting to her peers at the New York State Bar Association in 2014 on the Medical Treatment Guidelines.
Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from SUNY New Paltz in 2005. She earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2008. While attending law school, Sarah worked as a research assistant and a teaching fellow. Sarah was also an editor for the Albany Law Journal of Science and Technology. At graduation, Sarah was awarded the John B. Laurie Memorial Prize for academic merit and professional promise.
Sarah lives with her husband, teenage son, and young daughter in the Mohawk Valley.
