So here’s the story of a summer’s eve, a sober effort (gone awry) and an awesome lawyer to save the day!! Fateful day of the LI Beer fest, I volunteered to be the sober driver of our group (hooray for me)… Super Hot, super looong day, so by the time things were winding down capped w/ a late night fa...mily bbq, I was ready for some sleeeep . You would think I would have slowed down but I just wanted to get home that much faster, when…*whoop whoop* colorful lights in my rearview, & sadly they weren’t fireworks. So the officer pulls up, normally I’m a quick thinker but w/ my husband beside me, it was clear I was not receiving any mercy i.e. no brownie points for sober sally. I have a clean record (not even a parking ticket) & this dudeick tacks me w/ an 86 in a 55, doesn’t even knock it down a point so the ticket is officially classified as over 30mph!! We called Gary’s office w/ a week to go before my appearance date, explained the situation & prayed we would hear back. Literally within the day, we received a call from Mr. Miller himself. Super responsive, & clearly outlined what to expect; he was very knowledgeable about the different courts & changing policies associated w/ some. Note: My ticket would have been an automatic 8 pnts + a max fine of $600 + Fees: Court, NYS assessment (per point) etc. not to mention insurance cost / this was the research I had done & I went as far as calling the DMV. Gary confirmed exactly this but said he would do his best, honestly after reading through the reviews, dare I say he is THE BEST w/ Traffic Tickets. I could have risked going to court on my own, but the cost of time, gas, effort & let alone nerves + ongoing fees which would likely follow, it just wasn’t worth it. I would have to pray for this officer not to show up & not to mention pray for the mercy of a judge & time incurred from work. So for the grand finale: Gary lets us know he may get the ticket post-poned given the tight timeframe & gives us two possible scenarios (lesser fine & pnts reduced by half or greater fine & better pnt reduction)… at the end of the day any pnts probably is going to have some sort of a cost attached so we chose the greater fine. This communication was all within maybe three days at most, so it was pretty much a sit & wait deal at this point. Again next day, Gary calls & bibidi babidi bam! Lawyer must have some kind of magic, because not only did I not have to appear in court, he got my ticket reduced to ZERO Points. I have to mail in a reduced fine ($450) which teaches my pocket a lesson trickling all the way down to my lead foot but it preserves my time, my sanity & my driving record. I would assume Gary’s fee differs depending on the severity of your ticket, but well worth the service received. The only time I ever spoke w/ a secretary was upon initial inquiry, after that Gary took the time & attention to speak w/ us directly. He handled my case efficiently, effectively & exceeded expectations. If you’re thinking about hiring him, call him & go from there… everyone’s situation is different but at least know if you hire Gary, your hiring peace of mind which is what were looking for when we comb through these reviews; to make sure we place our proximate future in the right hands. Trust me, the last thing I wanted was to stress & spend; going at it alone w/ nothing on my record would have been a gamble & Gary was the best bet I ever made not to mention once I handed the process to Gary, stress was no longer part of the equation – he wrapped it up in less than 5 days & we handled everything over the phone. In Short: Super responsive, honest & efficient, excellent service (time saver & stress reliever). Pay for the best & let Gary worry about the rest! I hope this review helps & best of luck to you whatever you decide :)
