My 17 yr old daughter got a ticket, 85 mph in 55 mph. We were looking at 6 pts on her record, insurance skyrocketing through the roof and additional penalties for excessive speeding. A few weeks ago I received a speeding ticket while on my way home from a Mets game. It was late at night and I just wanted to get home quickly since I had work early the next morning.
