My simple recommendation is to find any attorney but not Ian S. Mednick. He has little knowledge about his filed , this is what I heard from his peers. He comes always late to court. He is very rude and impolite . He not only takes your retainer but also he will ask you to pay more and more, and ...if you are not able to pay he leaves you alone in middle of your case as he did in my divorce case, He just takes your retainer and prolong the process intentionally to get more. I would recommend to represent yourself in court if you have no option but not him.

This “lawyer” is a complete disaster. Tried to bill me for $8,000 of “work he never did during the divorce he never even filed for me. I took him to arbitration and he walked away with nothing as he couldn’t produce any evidence of the phone calls or emails he was charging me for. That’s right people.....$8,000 in phone calls and emails. Stay FAR away people.

Mr. Mednick has represented me for the last ten years in Court. He represented me in my divorce where after a long drawn out trial I was awarded custody of my girls. Since then he has represented me numerous times in Family Court. He has become not only my attorney but I am proud to say he has becom...e a close friend. He is available any time I need him whether it is weekends or late nights. He is not afraid to go the extra mile for his clients in Court. I cannot thank him for what he has done for my family.
