Fantastic to work with!

I would rate the law group 10 stars if that were an option! The Meyers Law Group helped me with a my Family Law matter. Natasha, and her team were very attentive, responsive and professional to work with. I would highly recommend anyone going through a complicated Family Law matter to hire them...!

Would not use anyone else

The Meyers Law Group helped me with a three year family law matter and made me feel like they understood the emotion that goes into a matter like I had. Natasha Meyers handled my first matter and I felt I was in the best of hands . She handled it professionally and is well respected in the Court Sy...stem. Seven years later, had to hire Meyers Law Group back to handled some unfinished issues with the family law matter and with the help Natasha and her Associates I got the outcome that was deserved, thanks to them. I highly recommend using them, as they give you the personal touch and understand how emotional and stressful these situations can be. I have full respect for Natasha as a Lawyer and her firm.

Child Suppot

Natasha helped me through a tough and over due battle with Child Support. She was always professional, compassionate and direct. As soon as court began she was incredibly tough and knew my rights inside and out. I would not want to be on the other side of the table from her. I will be forever thankf...ul for her expertise and truthful representation. I recommend her highly.

Sells A Dream & Disappears

I hired Natasha Meyers based on her high Avvo reviews. What a mistake. Are you looking for the best family lawyer on Long Island? Maybe the best divorce attorney near you? This is the best divorce and custody lawyer in Nassau & Suffolk County! You will spend countless hours compiling all ...of your documents. Sending them through email, online drives, and their nifty portal. Expect to be charged for all three after they’re not received. They’ll call you each time to say they’ve got it, and yes, there is a small nominal charge of $240 per call. Plan on fighting for father’s rights? They’ve got you covered too! Anticipate a monthly invoice outlining every email, phone call, and rescheduled appearance. Fighting false allegations? They will gladly draft up a Motion to Dismiss! Best part- it will never be submitted! This will allow your case to successfully continue on, saving it “for a rainy day”. The Law Office of Natasha Meyers provides outstanding hospitality— from your paralegal Ellen. Should you have any questions about your invoice, the office manager will gladly schedule an appointment, show up one hour late and tell you after 20 minutes, “My time is limited”. Save the best for last - icing on the cake - You will get an email asking for a survey, and of course at the low and affordable price of $100. Natasha Meyers sells a dream and promises the world, collects a retainer fee, and is never heard from again. Who will you hear from? A recent law school graduate whom is NOT ADMITTED TO THE BAR. Expect to see her work charged at an hourly rate of an associate attorney.

Questionable invoice and attorney is not very nice when concerns are raised

This lawyer only represented me for one month (I decided to go back to my first attorney who had represented me for most of 2014). I had several concerns in the one month she represented me. She offers a "free" consultation but she didn't tell me that when I came in for my consultation meeting that a...t some point, she would start charging me for a meeting at her hourly rate of $425. She says that her version of events are different than mine in that we continued to meet after she charged my credit card for the retainer (5K). This "meeting" that occurred after the consultation meeting was SO NOT an hour...MAYBE 15 minutes MAX. (I had to get back to work and certainly would not have been able to have a consultation meeting followed by another meeting). One thing I know is that I never changed seats from the time I went in until I left the "free" consultation meeting. Anyone who meets a lawyer for the first time and has arrived to a new law office for a scheduled free consultation would never leave the office that day thinking a charge of 425 would be on the invoice. It should have been her responsibility to delineate what constituted HER free consultation service and HER charged service. I also took issue with her level of professionalism. She did not get back to emails in a timely fashion. She charges - at a minimum - $42.50 to review an email and a minimum of 42.50 to respond to that reviewed email (So, it was very clear to me that there was a minimum charge of 85 as a total for every email that is reviewed and responded to). During the one pre-conference meeting we went to, she was more interested in talking to my husband's attorney and other court staff than me. It didn't seem like she had time to really hear me out even though I'm the only one paying her for the hour. She also seems to double-charge. For example, she charged me for a call following our court appearance, but she was in her car DRIVING when she called me. She was already charging for her drive in to court and for her drive after court so to see a separate charge for the call (when it coincided with the drive she was charging for) is not right. I could go on and on but what became clear to me is that she did not seem to care about making my life go into financial disaster. She simply did not care. I think she is used to representing incredibly wealthy people where an invoice for several thousand dollars in one month is pocket change. She does not take concerns well. I admit that I had several but when you are charged 425 an hour, I think the client has a right to work through those concerns. Had I kept this attorney, she would have left me in financial disaster with the kind of charges that showed up on my invoice in month 1.
