Carol L. Schlitt has practiced law in New York for 25 years, earning a reputation as one of the leading personal injury attorneys in New York. Carol began her legal career as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the Law Department of the City of New York. Her outstanding work at the City Law Department earned Carol an award as the New York City Municipal Attorney of the Year. Carol went on to work as an associate for the Manhattan firm of Acito and Klein.

Carol received her undergraduate degree from Holy Cross and her law degree from St. John’s University School of Law.She served as a counsel during the petition drive for the Barack Obama Campaign on Long Island. She has done pro bono work through local charitable organizations and served as a moot court judge for law students. Carol is active in the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of their Women’s Caucus.
Carol is admitted in the State of New York and the Eastern and Southern Districts of Federal District Court.
