About me

Daniel attended Monmouth University, West Long Branch, New Jersey where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  Following his graduation from Monmouth he attended the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia.  Daniel then went on to work as a trainer and underwriter for one of the nation's largest automotive insurance providers.

Daniel attended the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center to pursue his juris doctor degree.  While a student at Touro, he earned an Association of the Bar of the City of New York Legal Fellowship.  During law school, Daniel served as the student co-director of Touro's Legal Education Access Program and as a teaching assistant for Contracts.  It was during Daniel's time at Touro that he began interning for the Law Offices of Greco & Wolfe, PLLC. In 2007 Daniel received his Juris Doctor degree graduating with honors.

During law school Daniel's academic achievements were acknowledged by various awards and recognitions.  He won the CALI Jurisprudence Award for highest grade achieved in Contracts I, Legal Methods I and Entertainment Law.  At graduation Daniel was recognized for Exemplary Contributions to the Quality of Student Life at Touro Law.

In 2010 Daniel established the Law Office of Daniel A. Jimenez P.C. in Bohemia, New York.  He publishes a widely read blog on the subject of Guardianship and estate planning, New York Guardian Law, and has had the opportunity to lecture fellow lawyers and the public on both subjects.  In the midst of all this Daniel also found time to run the 2010 New York City Marathon as part of Fred's Team, an organization which raises money for cancer research at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.  He has no plans to run another marathon, having come to the realization that 26.2 miles is a really long way to run.

I have read many of Daniel's answers here at Avvo. He is very careful in his analysis, making sure he understands the facts and his opinions are well considered. These are the characteristics of a fine lawyer. I strongly endorse this lawyer.

I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Jimenez and I practice in some of the same areas of law, so I have had an opportunity to review a number of his responses. While he is relatively new to the Avvo community, I find that Mr. Jimenez's advice reflects sound legal analysis and is both practical and helpful. I am happy to endorse him and his services.
