Prudential denied my MD husband's disability claim, and Justin and his assistant Christine handled our appeal. We found him on the internet --and have never met him. Took a big chance, we thought, to send our retainer check to a stranger based on internet referrals only, but they were excellent and won the appeal. Justin used supportive information from similar cases and argued impressively in our behalf. He described his work as "going to court on paper." Nearly 200 pages in our final case file, I believe. He handled the contact with physicians and the company --and effectively critiqued their hired "expert opinion" which disagreed with our physicians about the disability. We highly recommend him for his diligence and skill.

When my LTD payments were terminated, I didn't know what would happen to me, or to my house, car, etc. Right away I began searching for an appropriate attorney in this very specialized area of law.
Justin's web site was the most outstanding one out there, with lots of helpful info - it really showed his firm was exactly what I needed. After talking to Justin on the phone twice, I hired him right away. I never regretted it for one minute.
Justin and his staff, particularly his paralegal Kathleen were top notch, not only in knowledge but in helping me through the long appeals process. They made the process easy for me, and I can't thank them enough. We won!
The documents Justin and Kathleen wrote were very complete, incredibly well written, and have I said we won!
If you have a LTD case of any kind I would highly recommend Frankel and Newfield. I can't say enough good things about the firm. I would certainly send my family members and friends to Justin if they needed this very special type of legal advice!

Justin Frankel and his team represented me exceptionally and exceedingly well on my LTD case. He and his team go the extra mile with their legal experience to navigate through the pitfalls and mazes of LTD claims and appeals. He is caring, considerate and a good person. His breath of experience was most helpful. Justin’s fact gathering, documentation and representation helped me tremendously. Not to use him or use another attorney would have been my mistake. While the insurance company tried to find loop holes to disqualify my claim, Justin successfully found merit in my claim. Without him and his team the insurance company would have beaten me down more along with my disability. In my search he was referenced by other attorneys who said they would use him if needed. Enough said!

Please share this email with Justin and anyone else at Frankel & Newfield that helped work on my appeal. I just wanted to thank you guys again for all that you have done to help me and my family through a very difficult time. When Guardian decided to terminate my disability benefits, it caused great financial pain that resulted in us having to lose our home. A home that me and my wife Julie worked very hard to buy and keep, a home where our son Nicolas was born and raised in the only place he had ever called home. It was devastating to us and we have spent the last 8-9 months struggling just to pay our bills and put food on the table. I don't think we would have gotten through it as easily as we have without your help in appealing the decision that Guardian had made. It gave us hope that we had a chance. When you and Justin called me yesterday with the great news that we had won the appeal, it felt like a giant weight was lifted off of our shoulders. We can now start to put our lives back together thanks to the amazing work you guys did putting together a great appeal on our behalf. Thank you so, so much!
Christina, this next part is directed especially for you, but I would like for Justin to see it too, even though I am sure that he already knows how lucky he is to have you as part of his team at Frankel & Newfield. I know I called and bothered you way too often looking for an answer that I knew you couldn't possibly give me even before I made all the calls. I want to thank you for being so patient and for being so professional while always taking the time to walk me through the process. Thank you for your kindness both in your words and voice. I just want you to know that every time I called and was a pain in the ass, you always made me feel better after having talked to you. I wish you nothing but the success and happiness you deserve in both your professional and personal life. You are special!

Justin helped get me LTD for depression, no easy matter. He continues to help with insurance company inquiries as well as getting stalled payments moving. We have actually never physically met. I'm in NJ, he's in NY. I interviewed him via telephone and Internet reviews while recovering from surgery which left me immobile for over a month.

Mr Frankel is a lifesaver. He rescued me from the jaws of a disability company that was out to ruin my life and my family's. When your ill your not yourself and it's so hard to try to deal with these disability companies that are in the business of not paying valid claims. Mr. Frankel has proven himself that he has the experience and know how to deal with these companies and get you the benefits you paid for and deserve. I would not even think of using any other attorney.

When searching for an insurance appeal attorney, I saw Justin Frankel's photo. He looked "no-nonsense," smart, and to-the-point. And he was. He made minimal demands on me, made document submission easy even while I was changing residences, and his voice was reassuring. There were periods I thought he'd forgotten me, but he was just busy. He submitted the Appeal on time and what an appeal! 113 pages long, brilliantly written. A published PhD, editor, and writer myself, I was duly impressed. Justin Frankel and his paralegal, Kathleen Lewis, make an amazing personable team. Efficient, eloquent, and effective. We won!

On several instances Justin has provided invaluable assistance as he won cases/appeals in a relatively short time. Based upon his evidence companies have reversed their decisions thereby avoiding longer court cases and higher legal fees. He knows his opposition well and is respected by them. You definately want Justin on your side.

I retained Justin 8 years ago and since that time he has continually protected my best interests and made my post-professional life much more secure with regard to my disability coverage and benefits. The disability insurance companies have their own agenda and many times it could adversely affect your benefits if you do not have someone representing you who is knowledgeable, insightful and extremely well versed in the intricacies of each insurance carrier. It was very hard for me to have to leave my profession but I count choosing Justin to represent me in my professional disability policy as one of the best choices I ever made. He was alway personable, compassionate and genuine in his concern for me and my situation. I in all my years in business I have rarely found this level of service in in the legal profession.

The worst part of being sick & disable is not the diseases’ itself but the constant worry of private insurance companies’ attempt to disqualify you! I knew I will need the assistance of a good long-term disability lawyer, but didn’t know where to look for so I searched the internet and came across the Law firm of Frankel & Newfield.
After my initial consultation with Mr. Frankel I knew I have the right guy on my corner. Since then Justin Frankel and his Firm worked vigorously to win my case. They always kept me informed and contacted all my Physicians as we needed their testimonial about my conditions.
I will strongly recommend Mr. Frankel and his firm to anyone who needs an advocate for their Long Term Disability situation and proper representation.
