profits AFTER people, not recommended.
I reached out to the Law Office of Jonathan M. Cooper regarding a violent situation with my son's elementary school. After they asked me a bunch of questions regarding the incident, they came to the conclusion that they can't profit from my tragic situation, they quickly ended our conversation and fo...
We always appreciate receiving constructive feedback, even if it's negative, because we are interested in improving the services and counsel we provide, and the manner in which we do so. Since we are NOT a volume practice that takes in hundreds of cases at a time, instead focusing on a handful of cases at a time that fall squarely within the ambit of what we do best, we are compelled to turn away those matters that don't fit that criteria, which leads to a better experience and results for our existing clients. In this particular case, this gentleman interacted with our chat service, asking if there was a potential legal claim for his son who had an incident at school. Our chat service then asked several questions about the nature of the potential school negligence claim - which is precisely the job they are tasked with. In the course of gathering the information, the parent confirmed that his child had not suffered any bodily injury other than having his glasses broken, which, while certainly troubling, also clearly doesn't rise to the level of warranting legal action against the school, at which point the chat service apologized, and (politely) noted that this particular fact pattern didn't fit our criteria for accepting the case. If politely declining someone's potential legal matter inherently elicits a critical response (as here), we are willing to pay that price in order to make sure we stay true to our niche, and do our best by our existing clients.

Forever Grateful
Jonathan helped us through a tough situation, where many great lawyers advised us to file bankruptcy. We hired Jonathan, and he held our hand and guided us. He was able to show the plaintiff's lawyer that we weren't at fault and we were the victims of a fraud. He also successfully negotiated a settle...

You always need good counsel
I retained Jonathan when my separation from my firm of almost 3 1/2 decades began to lose traction and i realized I was in need of quality counsel. Jonathan Cooper took to the task quite rapidly and adeptly. He drafted an ideal agreement and we were able to keep almost all of Jonathan's terms through...

Superb!
Jonathan Cooper has represented us on a rather complex case. Here's my overall review: 1) He is very fairly priced, not not just per hour... Based on the amount of work he did versus what our previous attorney did, it ended up costing us about 80% less than what we paid for our previous attorney. ...

Very knowledgeable and professional
I was involved in litigation related to a non-compete contractual dispute that involved dual litigation in California and New York. While initially i had tried to fight for the case to be heard in California, we ultimately failed in that effort, it was then that after searching online I came across ...
