also known as Jeff Benjamin
Attorney Jeffrey Benjamin has devoted himself to the rights of consumers and small businesses in civil litigation since 1997. The bulk of his law practice remains the same today. Consumers' rights change year after year, and the firm seeks to stay current on ebbs and flows in both the law and the general attitudes of various judiciary. Over the years, Mr. Benjamin has surrounded himself with extremely competent support staff, and lawyer associates who are like-minded individuals, and share Mr. Benjamin's aggressive approach to consumer litigation. The firm offers its clients a vast array of experience, knowledge and tenacity in each matter we take on.
Consumer rights are trampled upon regularly, and in many different forums. There simply are not enough voices, lawyer and non-lawyer alike, to advocate for the financially more vulnerable. Since his admission in 1998, Mr. Benjamin has been one such strong advocate for these rights. Out of the starting gate and at the very beginning of his practice, Mr. Benjamin was charged with fighting very large and competent adversaries with abundant resources to sustain long-term litigation. It has caused him over the many years to develop a no-fear mentality when it comes to the size and resources of an opponent. Mr. Benjamin places his trust in our justice system, judges and juries alike, to decide fairly for David as he fights Goliath.
From his modest beginnings in the law in 1997, Attorney Jeffrey Benjamin has built his law practice on the motto of Doing Well by Doing Good. While he and the firm can only take on a small percentage of cases that call, Mr. Benjamin takes great pleasure in the cases he is able to handle, and enlist his many years of legal experience and knowledge behind the underdog.
Lawyer Jeffrey Benjamin also believes that education, namely in the law, is a lifelong endeavor. That is why he regularly attends Continuing Legal Education courses and seminars, primarily by the National Consumer Law Center. While working for law firms first in Chicago, Illinois, then Manhattan, New York, Mr. Benjamin has always held true to those primary areas of his practice. Fighting for the consumer or small business owner is a combination of learned and innate skill and knowledge. It is over these many years that lawyer Jeffrey Benjamin has become more and more valuable to past and present clients. Over the years, Attorney Jeffrey Benjamin has been privileged to also devote some time to pro bono events. One of his greater joys is sharing his knowledge of consumer and related law with those who are not able to afford a lawyer. Mr. Benjamin looks forward to giving more free legal advice in the future, year-to-year, to the financially incapable, and hopes to inspire certain people to be their own lawyer in certain limited instances.
