My wife and I contacted Jamie on a rent overcharge with the DCHR. All the other lawyers that we contacted to represent us said they couldn't do it or would charge us a fee upfront. Jamie got done and did it at a reasonable rate and in a timely manner.
We enjoyed working with him and found him so refreshing and accessible. He has a no nonsense approach, was knowledgable and answered all our questions. We felt like we were in good hands and most importantly, that he was on our side. We would highly recommend him to anyone seeking legal counsel.

We hired Jaime for a real estate matter and while he was responsive through email over several months, he was not prepared at meetings, showed up late to meetings with other attorneys, and when problems came up, did not advocate for us (his clients). Jaime proved to be unprofessional, rude, and obnoxious when we needed him the most. We regret hiring him and would not recommend him to anyone.

I don't know how anyone had anything nice to say about this guy. Maybe he used to be nicer, maybe he has experienced some personal issues. But the man I had the misfortune to meet is rude, disrespectful to his clients, arrogant for little reason, lacks attention to details, neglects his duties, takes no responsibility for his delays or mistakes, and is generally a time-waster. There's plenty of competition out there - hire someone else.
