I had a very bad 4 month period where I accumulated 10 traffic tickets including 2 misdemeanors and failed to appear for all. Facing multiple warrants, I hired Mr. Weinstock to avoid being jailed. In the end, i paid fines but avoided jail, got no points and received good advice on how to avoid this situation in the future. Throughout the process, i was treated with respect and communication was clear on the possible outcomes. If your reading this Michael, Thank you again.

Michael Weinstock helped me on a short notice and got a satisfying result. He was comforting and kept my family informed about everything that pertained to my case. But most of all he helped me clear up my problems that were holding me back from being a productive member of society and a Father to my Family.

I'll start by explaining how I met Counselor Weinstock... I had a terrible lapse in judgment while dealing with a personal crisis and was being charged with a DWI. This was my second in 9 years and I was looking at jailtime, a felony, and probation. The most devestating to my personal and professional career would be the jail time; 6 months.
From the start the my case was at the least, near impossible to obtain the disposition of community service in leu of the jailtime I most desperately sought to avoid. I was not looking to shirk my debt for violating the law, just repay in a manner not crippling to my future. Couselor Weinstock went over my goals with me and( very accurately in hindsight) and gave me the realistic outlook of what to expect.
His preparation and honest, brass tax assessment of my case reflected not only a man of integrity and character, but of
wisdom, and resourcefulness. He outlined what was to come, our strategy for my defence, and realistic expectations for an outcome. I knew always what was happening, any developments or progress made, and never felt afraid or unsure of what the standing was of my case.
Due to his diligence, and determination, a plea with NO, ... NO jailtime was reached.
Without him, I would have been lost in the seemingly overwhelming legal system, or left wanting for a proper defender.
Counselor Weinstock worked with me emotionaly, finacialy, and sincerely every step of my journey. He obtained the oportunity for me to rebuild my life and make the happy, healthy, law abiding future I desire.
I would recommend him, absolutly to anyone in need of proper legal defense, and a non judgmental, non biased legal proffessonal.

Mr. Weinstock was recommended to me by a mutual friend. Probably because of this, I failed to heed some early red flags and warning signs. He does not have an office, so chose to meet me in the lobby of a law school. I was a bit of an emotional and physical wreck at the time, so was not as sharp as usual. I noticed that he talked himself up a lot, rather than focusing on my case. This was also evident at my arraignment as he insisted on calling the judge's attention to our mutual friend who was in attendance in an effort to show off (he actually told me that was what he was doing; this is not speculation). As it happened, I was in a bad place at the time and was scared, so chose to retain him anyway, at which point he took all my paperwork. He then proceeded to miss my first court appearance, then blamed me for giving him the wrong date, despite the fact that he had my paperwork. He then became irate when I wanted to speak with him further about this. He insisted it was not his job to read my paperwork. (This was further evidenced when another friend who was represented by Mr. Weinstock at the time ended up with an arrest warrant because he had failed to properly file some paperwork.)
I ended up getting a different lawyer, thank goodness, who managed to get a result that Mr. Weinstock had initially told me would be impossible to get. Mr. Weinstock also told me he was charging a reduced retainer because of the mutual friend. This was the same retainer that the next top-rate attorney charged me. Mr. Weinstock was highly unprofessional throughout my entire experience with him, and I would not recommend his services.
Part of my poor experience had to do with me not listening to my gut feelings and moving forward with this lawyer despite my initial reservations; that I take responsibility for. The basic point of this review is to advise potential clients to do some solid research before choosing an attorney. If you are doing your research now, I would check out another guy. I used Joseph LoPiccolo to my great satisfaction. Good Luck out there.

I met Michael after I was arrested for a DWI. He immediately put me at ease and made it possible for us to form a bond.
Michael guided me through the challenges of meeting the obligations necessary to satisfy the state's demands. He was there with me at every court appearance and worked quickly to settle my case minus many restrictions. I highly recommend Michael, as he is an excellent attorney.

Michael Weinstock defended me for a felony DWI and Leandra's Law. During a long, painful process he treated me with respect and kindness. He gave me immediate time and attention when I had concerns. My case was resolved to the best of his abilities, something even the judge noted. I highly recommend him.

With about twelve hours notice I reached out to Michael Weinstock and told him that my company needed a lawyer for an emergency hearing in Suffolk County. Michael immediately accepted the matter and was able to appear in court despite an already heavy workload. He thoroughly prepared for the hearing and conducted great research, including finding the adversary's deleted website. Michael succeeded and persuaded the judge to resolve the matter well before lunch. Michael saved my company a substantial amount of money and corroborated my belief that he is an incredibly effective and skilled lawyer.
