Very helpful, great results

Lee was great at helping me manage my tickets. . He was very professional, and answered all the questions I had. I was facing 7 points and a little under $1,000 in fines, and of course it was going to affect my driving record, He was honest about what I could expect and he took care of everything to ...help me get my case dismissed.... Yay!!! Very nice guy, has experience & knows what he's doing, you will definitely be happy.

Canadian driver (in Ontario) ticketed for speeding 100 mph in a 65 mph zone

A little background on the situation. I was charged with speeding 100 mph in a 65-mph zone. The penalties for this ticket include 8 points on my NY driving record, a $693 fine, a $450 driver responsibility assessment, and a possible increase in your insurance premiums. The NY DMV will suspend NY d...riving privileges if I accrue 11 points in any 18-month period and revoke NY driving privileges for 6 months if I accrue 3 or more speeds in any 18-month period. The NY DMV will impose its own fine known as the driver responsibility assessment if you accrue 6 or more points in any 18-month period ($300 for the first 6 points and $75 for every point over 6). Insurance companies are authorized under NY regulations to raise insurance premiums for any speeding conviction of 16 mph or more over the limit or 2 moving violation convictions in any 36-month period. The Judge is especially hard on speeding tickets that are 31 mph or more over the limit. As a result, he would not reduce my ticket out of the speeding category. Hiring Shelton Law Firm, I was able to get the ticket reduced to 15 mph over the limit or 80 mph in a 65-mph zone. This reduces the points from 8 points to 4 points. Unlike the originally charged ticket, it is not a violation that by itself can be used to raise your insurance premiums in NY or in Canada. This reduction also completely avoids the $450 driver responsibility assessment. It also reduces the fine to $243.

Positive results, reasonable fee

I called Lee Shelton to represent me in a speeding violation. He called me back immediately and was clear and courteous, and treated me like a person and not just another job. He got the court to reduce my offense to a non-moving violation. Lee's fee was reasonable compared to other lawyers I looked ...into, and the savings on my ticket more than paid for his services. Thanks!
