These guys are true professionals

My vehicle collided with a government owned snow plow truck on a night where the road conditions were terrible. I faced several charges ranging from 3 to 4 points each. Palumbo's offices reduced each of these charges in my defense. These guys are the real deal. It was a stressful situation for ...me but they came through. Definitely worth hiring.

Fantastic Traffic Moving Charge Defense

I was charged of a moving charge in NYS, after an accident. The firm swiftly told me their expected range of outcome, which has better expectations (up to charge dismissal) than any other lawyers I consulted with. They did handsomely in the defense, and everything was taken care of. Throughout the pr...ocess the firm has kept me informed upon requests. It has been a great experience with Palumbo firm!

This was a very difficult case as our client was charged with an accident in relation to the ticket. Even though we submitted proof to the prosecutor that any damage to the adverse vehicle had been paid by our client's insurance, they maintained a "no plea offer" position. This means that our client would have either had to plead guilty as charged, or defend the case at trial. Obviously we were not going to plead our client to the top charge, because that makes no sense if the prosecutor wants the conviction without making a reduced offer they must earn that at trial. We had perfected our discovery demands and when the State's disclosure came in it was obvious to our office that they could not so much as assert a prima facie showing at trial. Consequently, we made a written motion on notice to the prosecutor to dismiss. Our case was so strong that the prosecution did not even oppose, and the motion to dismiss was granted by the court.

Moving violation reduced to parking ticket

I was involved in a rush hour traffic fender bender and got a ticket for ‘following too closely’. I was going to plead guilty and be done with it until I found out it was a four point moving violation. My first contact with Michael J Palumbo’s firm was via a phone call. They explained to me the serio...usness of the violation, what they could do to assist in my defense and the possible outcomes if I hired them to handle the case. They sounded knowable & confident. I was concerned because the deadline to plead not guilty which was only two days away. I was reassured they would handle everything I would not even have to show up for the court date. It was suggest I take an on-line defensive driving course so they could show the judge I was trying to improve my driving skills. I sent a check for their fees, filled out the forms giving them power of attorney and hoped for the best. My only complaint was the lack of communication from this point on. I had to initiate any communication and a status report once in a while would have been reassuring. However they deliver as promised. The four point moving violation was reduced to a parking ticket. Cost $495 attorney fees, $175 fine, no points. I would certainly user the law firm of Michael J Palumbo again.
