Speeding Ticket

Wow, I am at a lost for words. Being a driver in New York, you are bound to be pulled over for a speeding ticket. Luckily when I received my ticket I was smart enough to retain the services of Michael Palumbo. I was caught doing 70 in a 50 zone, and I thought I was done for. Michael and his team save...d the day for me by getting the entire 6 point ticket dismissed!!! Mind you, I have had speeding tickets in the past where I did not retain Michaels services and the outcome was guilty. If you have a speeding ticket in the Tri-State Area, MICHAEL PALUMBO IS YOUR GUY!!! cant thank him enough for everything he has done!! Great Attorney, great service, great legal team!!!!

Great Lawyer, customer service could use some work

I retained Palumbo & Associates to handle a VTL 1172 (Failure to stop at a stop sign) violation in TVB Queens around September, 2016. Mr. Palumbo came up as a leader in the industry and was one of 4 phone calls I made to retain counsel for this matter. Despite having the highest retainer fee of all... the attorneys that I contacted on that date, I decided to retain him because he was the only one who spoke to me at length about my case, and responded to my concerns about specific intricacies of my situation prior to retainer execution. It was very clear that he is not only knowledgeable in this area of law, but a zealous advocate for his clients. It should be noted that Mr. Palumbo, in my opinion, comes off aggressive to the point of discomfort. I have had two phone calls with the man and he was speaking/yelling at full volume on both occasions. Further, when I contacted his offices at a later date with concerns about my case adjournment, the staff that I dealt with was dismissive and condescending. I am happy to recommend Mr. Palumbo based on his legal acumen, but would caution those who are more timid in asserting themselves against the overbearing nature of his practice.

My office speaks to dozens of people a day. We handle a high volume of calls. As such, it is impossible for me to address the specifics of this reviewers criticisms. When you call my office if you believe a staff member is coming off as rude or dismissive the thing to do at that time is have me take the call or leave a message for me so that I can immediately address it. If I am talking to you and you believe that I am being rude the time to address it is at that time. One thing that is correct, which is the most germane, is that we are the leader in traffic ticket defense. My staff and I are knowledgeable and defend our clients with aggression, passion, and zeal. Which is what you want in a lawyer. If you or anyone you know gets a traffic ticket don't hesitate call us at once. We have a 24 / 7 answering service. We can be reached at 914-500- 8929, or via e-mail to Traffic@MPalumboLaw.com. In fact, the easiest way to reach us is to scan and e-mail or fax to us at 914-777-2999 the ticket with your contact info (phone and e-mail address) and we will promptly contact you.

11 points & 400 dollars on two speeding tickets turned into 0 points & 100$ parking ticket

I picked up two speeding tickets, one in August, and one in October. 1st was for going 15 over the speed limit (SL) and i was given 3 points and 150 bucks as a fine. I was going to fight that one myself. It was the second ticket that I hired Palumbo and associates - it was for 8 points and a 360$ fin...e. I was going 38 over the SL, and I almost got arrested for reckless driving. Both cases I was commuting to school, and it felt like I was unfairly targeted as an out of state driver. Living on my own also, paying for car insurance alone was going to financially cripple me so drastically that I would have had to rethink my whole academic career, maybe move home to afford to live. Then there was the issue of taking time to go to court to state my case - I would have to taken a day out of class or work to make it. I've never contested a ticket before, and I am not from around here. the whole process seemed so intimidating and frustrating. The stakes were very high too, my license could have been suspended and I would have lost my ability to function up here in rural VT. I hired Palumbo's group to contest both of my tickets. Worth every penny. I didn't have to worry about court, about confronting the police officers who issued tickets to me, about missing school or work, and I was much more confident that my cases would work out better than if I was on my own. Anyways, the 8 point ticket was completely dismissed, no points, no fines. The 3 point ticket was converted to a parking ticket and I got no points. Let me also mention that BOTH of my hearings were on the same day in the same court. I can't even imagine how I didn't get the book thrown at me, for having two separate speeding cases with my name on them happen on the same day. NO SURCHARGE POINTS!!!!!! If I had absorbed even half of those 11 points from the tickets, I would be paying so much for insurance I can't even imagine how I could have lived. I talked to my insurance company, they were estimating that monthly rate would go to 400 bucks or more if I got up to 6 or 7 tickets. When I think of my decision to hire Palumbo, I can't help but think of it in terms of how it will pay for itself soon, and double and triple and quadruple my investment over years of not having high insurance rates from the points I avoided. I am not a gambling type, and I knew that hiring Palumbo and company was a great idea, and was gonna save me a huge hassle and money in the end. I strongly recommend, and god forbid, I will use them again if I ever goof up again behind the wheel (hopefully not though). Full disclosure: I was invited to take this survey via email link AFTER I was given my results. I was not offered any reward or any sort for typing this.

Incredible! Wonderful team and experience!

I was charged with 14 points and in danger of losing my license, which was extremely important for my livelihood! Within an hour of receiving my case, Michael Palumbo contacted me directly for a free consultation. I knew right away that this was the firm to handle my case. He and Ron Ritz worked v...ery hard. They were very concise and thorough in explaining the whole process of what I had to do. They also eased my anxiety several times over. As a result of their efforts, all charges were dismissed! It's as if the entire incident never happened! What a relief! Their price is steep, but I promise you that it is worth every penny and they will get you results!

Excellent service dropped my ticket from 5 points to 0 points

I was pulled over and was facing 5 points for having my cellphone in my hand. I felt that this ticket was warranted. However, I immediately looked for an attorney in the Mamaroneck area and appointed Palumbo & Associates. Within minutes of sending an email to their office on learning more about th...eir services, their office called me. After explaining the situation, they assured me that they can handle this ticket and will fight to get all points dismissed. Their office kept me informed throughout the status of my case, and ultimately informed me that my ticket was dropped to a parking violation with no points issued on my license. The pricing was very fair and their services showed that their fee was well worth it. To reassure yourself that you are in good hands, I would highly recommend you engage Palumbo & Associates.
