Someone once told me that going through the immigration required a lot of faith. The reality is, the process is just brutal. I had gone through several immigration lawyers in three different states to help me with a work petition case and then a family petition case gone wrong. Desperation is a good word to describe that period of confusion, information overload, distrust and low self-esteem. (Yes, you are subjected to a form of bullying and battering by well-meaning legal and para-legal beings when they dismiss your questions with no effort to explain at all).
I consider myself lucky and blessed that I got connected to Atty. Tsui Yee. I would wish every lawyer specializing in immigration cases would be like her: an attorney who sees her clients as real people and not just a case no. or receipt no. or alien no. She puts depth of understanding in every meeting with her clients. She moved me over from an original I-130 (family petition) to the stressful I-360 (special petition, I was a VAWA case) and the necessary I-756 (work permit)
Having a feeling of inadequacy and loss of face is very typical of clients desperate for solutions and sometimes this warps the communication process. With Atty. Tsui, you become one in exhausting all possibilities. Communicating anxiety and a desire to understand the key supporting processes and subsequent documents of proof, becomes easier. With Atty. Tsui, the complex equation of hope plus the number of days and the number of documents and requirements exchanged back and forth with a flawed labyrinth called USCIS, is simplified. With Atty Tsui, you wind up winning your green card with the feeling of genuine gratitude and solid security and the confidence to move forward. (Yes, there will be euphoria and drama for a week or two!) I am moving forward with her to secure the future of my children, too.

I was in a deep visa immigration limbo with a pending O-1 extraordinary ability visa petition that was stuck pending with USCIS for almost 3 years. Being lost in the legal ambiguities of immigration law, Tsui was both diligent in her plan of action and bold in fighting for my case. Essentially, USCIS finally came back with a Request for Further Evidence saying they would only give me 6 months of an O1 before having to file all over again even though I'd been the one that had waited patiently the whole time. Tsui felt strongly that we should fight back and request the entire 3 years. I'd dealt with other lawyers who didn't totally have my back (rather their interests or the easy way out) but Tsui understand where I was coming from and was committed to getting what I had hoped for- a brand new 3 year O-1 visa. Just goes to show how far you can go with the right legal counsel and perseverance. Thank you Tsui!

My situation was less than typical while applying for the TN visa, Tsui not only guided me through the complicated process but also patiently helped me coordinate between the various levels of the company that employs me. Very professional!

Worked Hard on a Difficult Case.
I was referred to Tsui Yee through friends who are legal headhunters. I needed an attorney who could communicate with my husband in Mandarine, handled immigration and was not frightened of my husband's case. We were denied by two other attorneys prior to finding Tsui. My husband's case was difficult in that he had a deportation in the court system from an Assylum Petition he had filed through a "Middle Man" firm, thinking it was a law firm, which it was not. They have since been busted and his file was likely tagged because of that. To be clear, they did eventually send a licensed attorney to court, but the representation was inadequate at best, I would use fraudulent. This had all occurred before we met, much less married. Too make a long story short, my I-130 petition took 18 months, but was approved, several months later Tsui was able to get the deportation case dismissed and today we received a Permanent Green Card.
Throughout the process, Tsui was diligent, efficient and available. It has been over a 2 year process because of the difficulties involved but the important thing is she got it done.

To whom it may concern,
Tsui Yee is an excellent, effective and hardworking veteran immigration attorney. By retaining her, I am now currently living out my dream if working as a journalist in New York City. As a Canadian international, it was difficult knowing which direction to turn once my OPT following my year of graduate studies in the U.S. ended. I almost got married prematurely as another alternative to remaining in America. Thankfully, Tsui guided me down the path to an O-1 visa, answering any and all questions I had about the complicated and lengthy process. Her fees are reasonable, too, especially in comparison to other firms I investigated. Tsui is also flexible, friendly, and accessible. I recommend her to all my international colleagues, journalist or not. Even if you're not pursuing an O-1 visa, Tsui will be able to answer questions and help you aggressively pursue the visa best suited to your own personal situation. Thank you Tsui!

It was a true pleasure appointing Tsui as my lawyer, she is extremely professional and knowledgeable, very generous with her time, keen in providing as much information as you desire to know and always available to answer all your questions swiftly. From the very first contact with her until my case was successfully processed, I knew I was safe and in excellent hands. I am not really experienced with lawyers but from what I hear its can be a nightmare if you don't find the right person. Tsui is not only an expert at the law, but is accommodating, warm and caring. It was a pleasure and I'm grateful that she worked on my case.

Tsui gave us accurate info on filing green card application. She worked with us in a time and cost efficient manner. I got my green card within 3 months, work authorization within a month. I did not have the hassle of paperwork. I made a wise decision choosing her. The best part is her coaching througout the process and she goes with you to your interview. I plan on going back to her on all future works for me and my family.

I along with my family hired Ms. Tsui H. Yee as our attorney to handle our immigration case. My immigration case delayed for few years but she carried on with my case with passion and commitment. She tried her level best to pursue our case with the immigration authorities and did succeed in her every endeavor. The long delay of our case caused many hardships to us as well as her but she never gave up and continued to strive for the case. She was very responsive and patient and would always satisfy our concerns to the fullest extent.
The five stars for the overall rating and for the four factors are insufficient to reward her for what she deserves. I think that those stars can’t honor her because her commitment with her job and clients deserves a lot more than just couple of stars.
I highly recommend her to all my friends and everyone else.

I came to Tsui after having a terrible experience with another attorney. With her, my case moved along smoothly, and I could finally relax knowing her staff and her would take care of my case. She handled everything, and all I had to do was to collect my documents and show up to my appointments.
All in all, she made my entire H1B renewal and my green card case go very smoothly and in a very straightforward way. I highly recommend.
