Peter has extensive criminal trial experience in state and federal court, arbitration and administrative proceedings. He has won cases for his clients in practically every county in the New York metropolitan area. A former Assistant District Attorney, he now focuses on criminal defense of both civilians and law enforcement, representing clients charged with a variety of misdemeanors and felonies. As of 2015, he is now one of only two attorneys in all of New York State--and the only attorney in the New York metropolitan area--to be certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy in Criminal Law.
He also routinely defends the professional licenses of health care professionals, government employees and law enforcement officers in union arbitrations and disciplinary proceedings before arbitrators, OPD, OPMC, OATH and the NYPD Trial Room, among other forums.
We engage in aggressive advocacy, negotiation, and mediation with outcomes favorable to our clients. We have tried over 100 cases to verdict with impressive results. Extensive and in-depth law enforcement and government contacts.
